A kiss

I was awaken by the sunlight creeping on my cheeks. I hop on bed and get dressed. "Good Morning Room" I greeted to my room. Creepy huh! Yes I do that everyday. I open the door. Being the usual me. Mind fluttering eyes down the floor and tripped myself and caught by a soft object,warm, a human.

My head was buried in its chest. I look up to see Jake. Why him for any people in this house why him. I quickly took a step back and look down my feet. "Sorry" "Na'h its Ok" he said. We walk in a complete silence when Claire approach me. "Can you help me?" She said,I nod and follow her to her room.

"So what is it Claire?" I ask. "Well I forgot to give this doll to Enoch" she said holding a doll that Bronwyn and her get,yesterday in Annoy Enoch Day. I giggle,for the doll is an exact replica of me. I took the doll and told Claire to go down. And I'll be the one to give the doll back to Enoch.

As I was walking to Enoch's room. I was thinking about the kiss I give to Enoch last night. Does he like it? Did he enjoy it? Questions run in my mind. But there is one question that actually stop me from walking. What if Enoch ask me to be his Girlfriend?

I sigh and shook my head. Yes,Enoch likes me but Miss P will not be pleasure for it. I was at Enoch's door I sigh before I knock. Then I heard footsteps coming and the door open widely. I look up to see a tired,emotionless Enoch who's hair was still messy. "What?" He asked. I held him the doll and smile. "Ohhh.....thanks" he utter. "Its breakfast" I said. And offer my hand. We walk hand in hand.

We took the last step and our hands separated. I'm not the one who separate first. And I do like to hold hands with Enoch forever. But I think we can't, maybe we  just can't. I took a sigh before putting up my smile and eat breakfast.

I was helping Enoch for another project. We work in utter silence. We finish the first doll so all we have to finish was the second doll and then fight time. But in the middle of making the second doll, Enoch stand up and collapse in his bed.

Leaving me standing and shock of his sudden action.
"Are you Ok?" I asked. It was a moment of silent before he spoke up. "Its just......Uhm.....can we walk outside?" He asked. I smile before answering a big yes. This is the first time Enoch asked me to walk with him. Am I dreaming somebody pinch me. GOSH!!.........

Enoch's POV

So we were walking by the bay. I offer her to walk to the bay than walking around with many people. We were alone at the bay and no one even Millard is here to see us. "Sorry about the kiss" she apologize. I stop and look at her. "Na'h its Ok the kiss is good but not that good...............its soft gentle an-" but before I could finish she stopped me. "In simple words please"

"kiss on cheeks are not the best for me" I said not even thinking of the words coming out of my mouth. What on Earth would I said that. The only time that we kiss on lips was the time she was frozen. And i guess she don't remember that. And the rest were on cheeks,forehead and head.

And then I notice that she tiptoe and bent on me. And KISS me on the lips. The whole world stop. The waves of the ocean stops crashing. The birds stop chirping. As the winds sung us a beautiful song. And for sure I'm not going to waste this chance so I kiss her back. I feel like everything is in slow motion. And the moment that we wish never happened. Our lips separated to catch our breath.

I smile at her. "That's the what I mean BEST!!!" I smirk. She gave me a smile. "So may I ask you?" I raise my eyebrow before nodding. "Am I a best kisser" she asked. I smile for the fact that why would she asked question like that. Yes,of course she's a best kisser. No i mean THE BEST KISSER.

I grab her tiny hips and kiss her. The kiss was soft and quick. And then I smile. "Would I kiss you if you're not a best kisser" she laugh and we both head to the house before Miss Peregrine will search for us. We walk hand in hand without any words. For we don't need words to tell each other we that were both in love.
