Enoch's POV

I woke up early. Really early its still 5 in the morning. I went down for a little breeze. But I was surprise to see Miss Peregrine wide awake. Maybe she's guarding the house, and guarding us. But in this early? She is really mysterious. I just crept slowly to the kitchen to drink some water. But even though I was really quiet and really slowly for her not to notice me. But as expected she did. "Enoch? Come here dear" she commanded. I sat next to her. She was drinking hot coco. "Why you wake up so early?" She ask. Breaking down the awkward silence.

"Uhm... I- I - was..." I can't figure a good word to say or anything good to start. Am I suppose to ask her about my courtship or not? I'm to shy to ask or maybe to afraid to ask. "Its Ok say anything you want" she suggested. I took a deep breath and said. "Can I court Olive?" I ask. She just smile. "Sure...... Dear.... Just make sure no bed scenes" she giggle. I turn bright red and look down. "Thank you miss P" I said shyly. "I think you should sleep.... Its still early... And you should think of things about you're courting" she offer. I just nod and went to my room.

I lock the door before collapsing in my bed. I can't believe I'm going to court Olive. I didn't even know I could love someone and someone could love me. I guess love is just so magical.

I started to drift of. But no matter how hard I try I can't. I can't stop thinking of Olive and her Yes. Well, I'm confident that she'll give me her big Yes when I ask. But first I'm going to court her. I want to express my love for her. Unlike Jake who directly ask Emma without courting. Well, I guess that's what future people do.

Maybe if she'll give me her yes were going to be a cute couple someday. Enolive shipper get ready. And let's see for there reaction if they'll know that I'm courting Olive. Haha haha can't wait for Hugh's face. Because he always told me "No girls can ever love you and you can't ever court someone because no one will say yes to you"

Maybe we we're destined for each other. I promise her that she'll not regret for saying yes to me. I can see our future. We'll both went to Don Stromae and borrow another book together, eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner together. Holding hands in movie time. But I don't want to be in public. I still hate too cliché couple. I just want sweet and not that cliché.

My window opened loudly making me back to reality. I look at my watch and almost jump. Its 7 in the morning. I'm really that preoccupied. I quickly went down. I'm late for breakfast. Well, breakfast start at 6. I quickly sat down my chair and started to eat like I've never been late. "O'Connor, why are late?" Miss Peregrine ask. I just look at her in the eye. Am I suppose to tell her that I'm 2 hours preoccupied. No don't tell her you're going to embarrass yourself. "Preoccupied" sometimes my mouth and brain don't understand.

I eat quickly. Maybe I'm just excited for my courtship for Olive. I plan to ask her in the seaside. When its our daily walk.

>>>>Time skip<<<<

"Everyone get ready for our daily walk" Miss Peregrine commanded. We all line up and started to walk. Miss P turned at and wink at me. I guess it's time. "Uhm....Olive" I started. She look at me "Will you let me court you?". My heart beats faster and faster as I think of the right words to say. "Do... You want to go to the seaside?" I ask nervously. She just nod. And we walk in the opposite way. Miss P knew that I was about to court Olive so there's no big deal for her if we go to the seaside.

As we walk by the bay barefoot. I hold Olive's hand which makes her bright red. I think she should get used to this. We walk for a couple of minutes without talking. Just feeling the moment of me and her.

But then I decided to ask her. I stop, which made her stop too. I hold both of her shoulders and face her to me. I took a deep breath before asking. "Olive?" I said seriously. "Yes, Enoch" she said. She is so nervous that makes me giggle. "Will you let me court you?" I ask directly.
