People think they know
With just a simple glance
But there's so much more
If they'd just give me a chance
I'm not who you think
I'm different than I seem
But you won't understand
Unless it's in a dream
Don't decide the truth
When it isn't true
I am not a ghost
You can't see right through
People say "don't judge"
Even when they do
Why are you so cruel?
I can't get through to you
So when you think you know
Take a closer look
I'm not classifed
Or a closed book
All I'm saying is
You don't know me
But when you truly do
That's when you'll see
A/N: I haven't written poetry in awhile, so I'll try to come up with something new for you guys, instead of my old writing. I've been trying to write stuff a specific person in my life, but it's been surprisingly difficult. We'll see.
