"Cassia dear, wake up.", Cassie said while patting Cassia's head gently. Cassia woke up and yawned.
Cassie left the room leaving behind a uniform and a map to a school. Without a doubt, Cassia knew that she was going to school. She smiled tenderly at the things her mother prepared for her. She knew that inside Cassie's heart, she loved her own daughter. Cassia wore the uniform and checked the map. "School starts at 12am and ends at 6pm.", was written down on the map with a black pen. "This is mom's handwriting... .", Cassia thought to herself. She never saw her mother's handwriting her whole life nor even speak to her frequently.
Cassia ran down the spiral stairs smiling happily. "Thank you, mom!", Cassia thanked Cassie. "How many times have I told you to call me mother? Not 'mom' ", Cassie glared at Cassia. "S-Sorry, mother... .", Cassia apologized looking down to the ground. "I will give you one week time to kill the demon. If you fail ; prepare to be punished.", Cassie said turning her head and went upstairs.
I checked the time on my watch. "It is only 10am.", I said to myself. Maybe I should go there earlier to check where the pond is. I walked to school in the wonderful weather. "Meow~". "Huh?", I thought I heard a cat. I turned around to see a black cat following me. "Hey there... .", I smiled and patted it's head. It seem to like me. I am glad... . "There is that stupid cat!", a kid shouted. The two kids were holding two thick wooden sticks. The black cat hid behind me. "Hand over that cat!", the first kid yelled. "Why?", I asked. "It ate my brother's food!", the first kid said with his face in sorrow. "I-I'm sorry... .", I heard the cat said. But the boys only heard the cat meowed. "The cat said she is sorry. So, forgive her. I will buy you both an ice cream, don't feel sad, okay?", I asked them. They both nodded in unison. I bought them both ice creams and continued walking to school.
"Thank you for your help, Cassia.", the cat thanked. "No problem, but how did you know my name?", I asked the cat. "Huh? You are a famous witch in the witchcraft world. The youngest one too.", the cat tilted it's head. "Really? I didn't know... .", I smiled. "What is your name?", I asked the black cat while walking. "I don't have a name.", the cat replied. "Can I give you one?", I asked the black cat. "Sure, but that would mean you are my master.", the cat replied again. "I know.", I smiled at the cat. "Your name will be, Carla.", I said while carrying Carla. "What a nice name. I like it.", Carla said.
" That girl is alright?", A woman asked her friend. "I don't know. She kept on speaking to a cat... .", The woman's friend answered.
