"W-Why...? Just why..?", Cassia cried her teardrops fall to the ground echoing the whole room. "Cassia... .", Tohayi didn't know how to help or console her in any way. She was a loving and caring mother, so she believed that all mothers were like her too but to her dismay, she was thoroughly mistaken. "Mistress?", Carla snuggled Cassia. "Mom and the black cat, quickly hide.", Jester whispered as he heard the iron door unlocking. Carla disappeared using her spell while the two spirits faded into the darkness.

"Cassia. Why are you crying?", Cassie asked without a sign of concern. "M-Mom...!", Cassia ran to her mother and hugged her tightly. "Let go of me this instance!", Cassie was quick to push her daughter away. "Mom... . Do you really hate me that much? Am I only a tool to you..?", Cassia asked trying to stop herself from crying. Cassie looked at her teary eyed daughter. "Yes.", She immediately gave a straightforward answer. Cassia's eyes didn't show a glint of compassion nor sympathy. Cassia falls to the ground her legs gave her away. "N-No... . That is not true.", Cassia cried even more. Cassia fainted instantly in front of Cassie.

"Cassia? Where are you?", Lyra shouted in the pitch dark. "Lyra..!", Cassia was shocked to see her. No matter how hard she tried to run to Lyra, she is further away from her every single step.

I opened my eyes to the dream. "Mistress?", Carla looked in my eyes while she was on me. "Where am I?", I put my hand on my head. I suddenly remember everything that happened before. I was still in the camber but the iron door was opened. "Cassia, call out my name if you need someone to talk to, alright?", Tohayi appeared in front of me. I nodded silently while looking onto the ground. Tohayi smiled tenderly at me and vanished instantly. "I wish I wasn't alive.", I said wanting to cry again. I am only a child, why do I need to go through this? Why..? I can only cry and cry. There isn't anything else I could possibly do.

I went to my room and immediately fell asleep after crying. When I opened my eyes, the day was bright but gloomy. The clouds covered the grey sky. My eyes were swollen because of crying too much. Carla looked at me with sympathy but couldn't do anything. I changed into my uniform, packed my bag and went down stairs using the spiral stairs. "Good morning.", I said not looking at my mother. "Good morning , Cassia.", my father looked at me. "Dad..!", I was surprised he wasn't at work today. "Today I am having work at a later time, so, let us eat breakfast together alright?", my father smiled. I forced myself to smile back at him and joined my parents for breakfast. "Darling, what happened to you?", my father asked looking at me directly in my eyes. I kept quiet and smiled back at him pretending to not know what he was talking about. My father sighed and glanced over to my mother. "Dear, please take good are of Cassia darling today again, alright?", my father smiled at my mother. She only nodded.

After breakfast I went to school. When I stepped into my class, Lyra popped out from behind me. "Hi, Cassi!!", Lyra said with a cheerful tone. "Hi..", my expression remained serious because I don't want to deal with anything else anymore. I have more problems than this to deal with. "Are you alright, Cassia?", Lyra asked me with concern. I fake smiled and nodded. "I brought some strawberry cupcakes today, I would like to share some with you at recess.", Lyra smiled happily. I nodded again and went to my seat. Lyra frowned and quietly went back to her seat.

At recess, Lyra pulled me out of the classroom. She ran to a large tree bringing her cupcakes. "We will have picnic under this tree. Understood?", Lyra showed a serious expression. I nodded silently again. "If I tell you my secret, will you tell me yours?", Lyra smiled. My eyes widen at her statement. "You have a secret?", I asked. Lyra grinned and chuckled. "Yup!", Lyra smiled cheerfully. "Alright.", I agreed without having much hesitation. I was curious of what kind of person that she really is.

"Truth to be... .", Lyra stopped midway as if regretting her actions last minute. She took a deep breath. "I am an exorcist.", Lyra said finally. I gasped in shock and surprise. "Really?", I asked to make sure. Lyra nodded intensely. "Now... . Tell me your secret.", Lyra said. I totally forgotten about what I agreed on. I hesitated but yet I knew she was trying to help me. She wants to know me better because.... . I am her friend.
"I-I am actually... .", I stopped midway. The suspend is killing her. I maybe shouldn't do this but I felt I was safe sharing this secret to her. "I am a witch.", The words finally came out of my mouth. The wind blew towards us while the leaves rustled. I could see the shock in Lyra eyes.
