Corey P.O.V

As soon as I came back downstairs after I helped Gracie to her room I faced my roommates who I consider brothers. I sighed this is going to be hard to explain. I knew they each had questions especially Elton since I stopped him from hugging her.

"What do you want to know?" I kept my voice low so Gracie couldn't hear. Luckily the guys saw what I was doing and were also quiet. Then the questions started.

"Is she okay? Why was she in the hospital?" That was Aaron.

"So why couldn't I hug her she looked sad?" Elton asked.

"How old is Grace?" Colby asked.

"Why does she seem scared?" Sam asked last. I sighed she had every right to be scared. Moving in itself is scary but moving in with your brother his girlfriend and four strangers after you were almost killed must be terrifying.

"Okay as you know that's Gracie my baby sister. She is 19. She was almost killed by the man she was living with. In other words my uncle John. He broke a bunch of bones and shit. Then as if that wasn't enough the bastard shot her twice and stabbed her. So that's how she ended up being air lifted to this hospital since the other one didn't have qualified surgeons. Elton I'm sorry I didn't let you hug her but I'm guessing she's still afraid of guys because the doctor told us one other thing. She was raped." After I finished Sam and Elton were holding onto their girlfriends comforting them as they cry at the horrors my sister has gone through. Colby and Aaron seemed shocked. Finally Elton spoke up.

"No one is ever hurting Grace again." Elton said with such ferocity that even I was scared for a minute. Then I was happy Elton would die for anyone he cared about and he had clearly had a soft spot for my baby sister. Suddenly all the guys nodded at each other. Seems they all have a soft spot for Gracie. I was relieved I didn't know what I would do if the guys didn't want her here.

"Hey Corey do you mind if we go check on your sister?" Kat and Amanda asked. I was glad they liked her hopefully this way she doesn't feel overwhelmed by guys. I nodded with a smile. Suddenly the guys were hugging me.

"She'll be okay Corey I haven't known her long but if she's anything like you she's a fighter." Elton said as he patted my back. I didn't even realize I was crying. I nodded and wiped my eyes I will be strong for Gracie. Next thing I know Amanda and Kat were going home and everyone went off to their room. I needed to check on Gracie.
