CH 1

"Ohohoho YOU THERE BRING MORE SWEETS! I'M QUEEN OF THIS CASLTE! HEAVEN KNOWS MY TWO TWINS WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO RULE A VAMPIRE COVEN Speaking of...KAMUI! SUBARU GET YOUR BUTTS IN HERE I HAVE A SURPRISE FOR YOU!" Hokuto laughed from her throne room,her shrill voice reaching all areas of the palace.

Subaru and Kamui walked out of one of the adjacent halls, Kamui glaring and muttering to himself about loud twin sisters and Subaru looking patient but curious, Hokuto didn't usually call them to the throne room...

"What is it Hokuto? Oh....and you woke Kamui up from his nap again..."

Hokuto was twirling a scepter around when her brothers arrived. "NAP?! ITS NEARLY TWO IN THE AFTERNOON WE ARE VAMPIRE ROYALITY!" She paused to place the scepter down. I want you to meet my new body guard! As queen I could be killed at any moment you know! OHOHOHOHO!"

Hokuto pointed to her left where a young woman sat with long chestnut hair and hazel eyes. "Pleased to meet you acquaintances Subaru-san and Kamui-san,I've heard a lot about you."

"Given that one, you're the queen and mainly run it, Subaru and I usually are free, and two, I haven't been sleeping well, let it go Hokuto. And you know as it is we'd never let you get killed, right?...But it's nice to meet you."

Subaru gave a nervous smile. "It's a pleasure to meet you, but um....wh-what've you heard about us exactly? Miss....um, I'm sorry, I don't think we have your name."

Suddenly both girls started to giggle as a pair of arms lifted Kamui off the ground. "Her name's Kotori Monou,that should ring a bell eh Kamui? And you must be Subaru-san."

"You took forever big brother! Hokuto-chan summoned us here ages ago!"

Kamui let out a rather high-pitched yelp and clung to the taller, though not before hitting him on the head. "Don't sneak up on me like that Fuuma! But this is your little sister then? And...when did Hokuto summon you here as well??"

Even Subaru gave a small laugh as he could also see a blush starting to form. "Yes, I'm Subaru, and based on Kotori-san and Kamui's responses, I'm assuming you are Fuuma-san, Kotori-san's big brother? A-are you related to Seishirou-san as well?"

"Sorry Kotori-chan,duty called someone has to work in this family to make an honest living." Chuckling at Kamui's reaction he put the vampire down. "She said her irritable twin brother needed protection from the cruel world and invited me to live here."

Another pause as he looked at Subaru. "Yep,I'm Fuuma and yes I'm Kotori's older brother. As for your other question the answer to that is unfortunately—OW!"

A black whip had smacked Fuuma upside the head. "The answer is yes and what was all that about the only one making an honest living hmm? Whose the head of the family? Who do all the people go to for help?"

"WAHHAHAHAHA SEI-CHAN YOU'RE CONFIDENT!"

"Seishirou-san!" Subaru was tempted to run over to Seishirou, but instead walked patiently over to him, smiling. "I've missed you. Was it really necessary to hit Fuuma-san?"

Kamui alternated glaring at Hokuto and....Seishirou. He was not a child, he did not need a bodyguard, he was, admittedly glad since Fuuma would be here more in theory then, but still! As for Seishirou....he may be Fuuma and Kotori's brother, but that didn't mean he trusted him yet.

"Hello Subaru-kun,I've missed you as well its been so long but work has kept me sooooo busy as of late." Seishirou of course ignored Hokuto's maniac giggling and Kamui's glares. He even ignored Kotori's giggling.

Fuuma too was ignoring most things."Wait a minute...Subaru-san how did you know I was related to Seishirou despite never meeting you before?" A pause as he locked his honey eyes on his brother's amber gaze. "AW NII-SAN YOU TALK ABOUT ME YOU DO CARE!" He lifted his brother off the ground. "We're twins you idiot,now put me down."

Fuuma put his brother down and as a reward Seishirou unlatched his white cloak and threw it at Fuuma resulting on it landing on his head.

"AW SEI-CHAN AND FUUMA ARE TWINS! I NEVER KNEW OHOHOHOHOHO!"

Subaru blushed slightly but hugged Seishirou. "He did talk about you a little. But he mostly said you were annoying...You seem nice though, and Kamui's clearly happy, so that's enough for me."

Kamui just blushed again as well and turned away. "I guess that's enough for me to trust Seishirou...."

"I AM NOT ANNOYING NII-SAN!"

"You are. Can I come with you to exorcise the demon nii-san? i heard that like twenty times before I would leave."

"Well Kamui you had better learn to trust Sei-chan you see the three of them live here in this palace now. The rival coven's been acting up and what better protection then three hunters oh and of course Sei-chan's got skills in the holy arts."

Kamui crossed his arms across his chest. "I already said I would," He paused and glared. "And which one? Reed's idiot relative's or Hinoto's?"

"Hinoto's of course. Who else? The other's know better than to mess with me! OHOHOHOHO! That's why I enlisted in Kotori-chan's and her older brothers' help."

"Tch. Figures. Stupid hateful witch. Fine. So is it just for now until that blows over or what?"

Subaru had still been hugging Seishirou, but now looked up, curious as well. "And what if THEY get hurt?"

"Of course not! You'd think I,Quuen Hokuto,would invite three poor mortals into my castle for a job and then boot them out when said job was over? Especially when i trust said mortals?"

"Subaru-kun..come now we're all very good at what we do,relax."

Kamui gave a little smile. Fuuma would get to stay then.

Subaru frowned up at Seishirou. "But still. That doesn't make you invincible!"

"You worry too much Subaru,they'll be fine! Now you two show Fuuma and Sei-chan their rooms and I'll show Kotori-chan hers."

Kamui nodded. "Come on Subaru."

Subaru nodded and started going to the left hall. "This is our hall, your guest rooms will be down it as well, right across from my room and Kamui's."

"The other hall is basically Hokuto's, and there's some ways to get from one to the other without coming all the way back through here. I guess we can show you later."

Fuuma had taken his glasses off and was admiring every aspect of the hallway. "We're staying HERE? This is phenomenal,this is incredible this is...I DONT EVEN KNOW.NII-SAN SAY SOMETHING."

"Nothing to say you haven't already said.." Amber eyes gazed around in amazement as well.

Kamui and Subaru both gave little smiles, their boyfriends were actually adorable. "It's not much further. Past our rooms is the library, which Hokuto has another way to access."

Subaru turned to them briefly. "The castle has a lot of secret passages and other ways to get to the rooms. Also, both of you will have your own bathrooms connected to your rooms. And if you see a boy with white hair or a girl with black hair, they're Sakura and Hana. They do the cleaning and everything over here."

"I've never been to any place more fabulous in my life,this even beats the library in recourt country,"

"Oh yes let's show off and talk about how you've been to other worlds besides the dank place we call home."

Subaru giggled. "That's because especially Kamui loves to read and whenever we have left we always make sure to look for more books."

"Subaru! You do too....Anyways. Here are your guys' rooms. Fuuma, yours is the one with the gold plate, Seishirou- yours is the silver. Subaru's is the white, mine's the black."

"If you both want, you can settle down for a bit, then we could go get Hokuto and Kotori-san and then show you all the secret passages."
