Royality Bites

Ch 2

It was in the dead of the night about a month or so since the hunters started staying at the palace. Of course no one was asleep but sitting in the main room(all except Seishirou who still continued to exorcise demons to hold up his reputation.)

The window in the room shattered and several of the vampires from Hinoto's clan came in. "We have you now Queen Hokuto! You and your little brothers will now be our slaves!"

"Drop dead! Hokuto-chan,Subaru-san,Kamui-san,please duck down!" Two ninja style stars were thrown pinning the first attacker to the wall. "

Subaru and Kamui ducked and then looked over the edge of the sofa. "Nice aim Kotori-chan!"

Kamui glanced around and noticed one vampire in particular. "Fuuma. Kotori-chan. Can you guys handle most of them? I have a score to settle with just one of these idiots....."

"Oh but of course!" A few more ninja stars were chucked and then shots went off from a gun."Yeah but you be careful we're not here just to protect Hokuto you know."

Kamui smiled. "I know, but she is the queen. And you better protect Subaru as well. But I'll be fine." That said, he got up and weaved around some of the other vampires until he reached the brunette he'd been hoping to finish.

"Of course just be careful!"

Finally Hinoto made her presence known. "No need to try to take down my captain,Prince Kamui,should I show you what it feels like to be impaled by toxic claws?"

Kamui glared. "I'll pass Hinoto. Could I perhaps offer you a drink of your own blood to choke on as I impale you and your pathetic captain?"

"You can try,however the little girl is protecting Hokuto and your lover boy is occupied who ever will save your timid little brother?"

"Don't you DARE touch Subaru!" Kamui impaled Saiki through his heart when he saw him start to move. "Where's that stupid hunter when you need him?"

Before anyone could the room went dark and Hinoto seemingly disappeared. "Ah Sakurazukamori,you going to challenge me alone?"

"That's right."

"The fastest way to break a kekkai is to kill the creator of one."

Kamui looked around wildly. "Where the heck did she go? What's even going on? Hokuto, are you and Subaru okay? Fuuma, Kotori-chan?"

"Hokuto and I are fine Kamui. Are you? What happened to Hinoto?"

"I'm alright,Kotori-chan are you?" "Yes"

"I'm fine Kamui and to answer you all,this is a kekkai. My twin's to be precise he trapped her in it with him."

"I'm fine. And huh, the idiot DID show up."

Subaru could feel his eyes widen. "But wait. He's trapped with her?! Does he even know how dangerous she is!?"

"He can drop the kekkai whenever.."

"Big brother..it can also drop if anything bad happens to bigger brother."

"Ohoho,let's not think of that especially.." Hokuto paused to slash at a few vampires behind her. "When the enemy still lurks." Another pause. "YOU INGRATES RUINED MY DRESS NOW YOURE GOING TO GET IT!"

Subaru frowned but knew that Hokuto was right. Both Kamui and him went back to attacking the vampires that were still left from Hinoto's coven.

During the fight they heard Kotori scream in pain. "LET GO OF MY SISTER! YOU HEAR ME LET GO! MORE SO LET GO OF ME!" Wincing the hunter picked up his gun and shot at Kotori's attacker despite getting impaled with a blade through his leg.
