Chapter 14: What Was On My Mind?

[Jenny's POV]

 I was walking to school with Changkyun, telling him what happened yesterday.

''Huh? . . That sounds like something straight out of a k-drama'' Changkyun said, laughing

''It's not, it really happened to me, I'm not joking'' I said

''Jenny. . .I think you should really stop watching k-dramas, see it's making you CRAZY!''

''but I'm not joking'' I pouted ''IT.ACTUALLY.HAPPENED.''

''Hmmm I don't believe you''

''Like you ever believe me ,come to think of it, who saved me?'' I thought

Maybe it's. . .

''Changkyun go ahead, I need to do something'' I said, patting his shoulder

Rushing down the stairs, I kept thinking maybe it's. . Hyungwon? I don't know but he saved me once, I really have no clue but my guts tell me it's him. He was so cool. I just know it's him, I've got to find him, before it rings. I go searching everywhere and find Minhyuk, weakly, coming down from his motor- bike. A mask covered his mouth and nose, only his deep-brown eyes were visible, but they were tired,blood-shot red, his cough sounded quite extreme.

''M-Minhyuk? Are you ok?'' I asked him, as I walked towards him

''Hm'' he responded, followed by a cough.

''Can I-'' I went back and forth, trying to touch his forehead.

Should i touch it? No I shouldn't, I should, No I shouldn't. Those thoughts kept playing in my head.

''A-Are you sure your not- hey your hot!'' I said as I finally touched his forehead ''I MEANT TEMPERATURE HOT!'' I said, fussing

''Yeah it's nothing just a little fever'' he responded with a frail laugh

''Little fever? you're PIPING HOT! No you have to go home right now!'' I commanded

''Alright then bye!'' he said waving at me, getting back on his bike

''Wait- Are you gonna go home riding that?'' I asked

''Hmm'' he responded weakly, his helmet in between his hands

I can't let him ride that alone, what if  he suddenly collapses?. . . Well. . there is a possibility!

''Wait- l-let me go with you- just to make sure you don't get into an a-accident or anything. . .'' I said, hesitatedly

What am I saying? 

I could tell he smiled due to the fact his eyes turned into crescent moons

''K'' he said throwing me another helmet

I cleared my throat ''D-Don't get the w-rong idea'' I pouted hopping onto the bike

He let out a small chuckle

I put my helmet on while he was setting the gear

''All set?'' he asked

''Y-Yeah'' I stuttered, as I kept moved my hips trying to find a comfortable position

I was so fucking scared, why did I agree to do this? 

''Hold onto me'' he said which made me hesitate.

W-What t-ouch him? H-HOLD him? I mean I've never touched him, he's always touched me, but why am I so scared? it's not he'll murder me or something,

''N-No I-I'm fine'' I said backing away trying not to touch him

''Uhhh you're so annoying sometimes, you know that?'' he said as he grabbed my arms effortlessly and snaked them around his waist.

''Don't you dare let go'' he said

''k-k''

His body was very hot, why did he come to school with a fever like this? maybe he didn't come to school yesterday because of this fever, it was bad, he should've just stayed home.

Air was bitter cold, against my skin making me shiver and hold onto Minhyuk tighter. Not to mention that he was SPEEDING down the roads.

''Can you slow down!!'' I shrieked

''What what did you say?'' He asked

''CAN YOU SLOW DOWN!?!'' I screamed

''Hmmm?'' I heard him say in a playful way as he turned the speed higher

''YAH YOU'RE GOING TO FAST!'' I yelled as I gripped onto him tighter

''Oh am I?'' he said mockingly as he went higher twisting the handles

That's when I realized. . .

''YAH! YOU'RE DOING THIS ON PURPOSE!''

''YEP! SO JUST SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE RIDE!''

''MINHYUKKKK!!!!!'' I screamed as I burried my head into his shoulder and held him tight

Out of nowhere, he suddenly braked, stopped the gear, and took his helmet off

''We're here'' he said my head still covered

''Yah! Bichisseo?! I thought we were gonna die!!'' I muffled as I punched him

''Well we didn't but I wouldn't mind if i died'' he chuckled

''Yah Gwenchana? you don't seem like yourself right now'' I asked, checking his forehead

''Gwenchana.'' he said flicking my hand off while getting got off the bike

I got of the bike and stood in front of a typical 12- floor flat 

''So this is your house?. . .'' I asked

''Mhm. Come.'' he said holding the door for me

''Wha- aren't your parents inside, they can look after you, and remember if you don't feel well tommorow don't come to school'' I commanded not moving an inch

''I live alone'' he responded

I live alone. I live alone. I alive alone. His speech echoed through my  brain, I was so fucking scared, I knew going inside was a bad idea. . .

''W-Wait. . .S-So there's no one to take care of you?'' I stuttered

''No.''

''C-Can't you take care of yourself?''

''No.''

''I-I bet you can take care of yours-!''

''WHY DON'T YOU JUST COME IN AND SHUT YOU LITTLE MOUTH SINCE YOU CAME HERE ALL THE WAY!!!'' he cut me

''But school. . .'' I pouted quietly

''They probably already closed the gates'' he said leaning against the glass door

 True, I can't go back to school right now they won't open the gates, and if I go back home my parents will kill me.

''O-Okay b-but I'm just going there to l-look after you!'' I stuttered

''If you say so. . .'' he smirked

I followed him in, knowing that it was going to be dangerous. . .
