As I slid off the curtains of my room, I could feel the gush of winds flipping the tresses of hair that fell over my forehead. I gently tucked the locks behind my ears and stepped into the balcony.
The kiss of the breeze made me feel overwhelmed. The music created by the swaying trees, as their leaves ruffled against each other, mesmerized me. I was lost in the touch and the music. Just for a moment, it felt as if I needed nothing more from my life. I felt complete amidst the peace of the dark and the silence of the night.
Scarcely had I got time to sit alone for a while and enjoy my own company, but then, I was all free to do so.
The rush of the streets, the shimmering lights from the buildings overpowered the beauty of the starry night sky. This used to be the general scenario in the city but that night was a little different. The breeze turned this early bird into a night owl. And now,I've fallen in love with the beauty of the dark.
