I drop my bag off at the front door and went to the park. The park where they show us. I was just wondering through the park. I got tired so I found a nice comfy bench to sit down. It was getting dark outside. So I decided just sleep here. What's the worst that could happen. I have extra every in my locker I will just go in early to change. I wish I didn't drop my book bag off at home. I got up and walked back to the house to see it still laying there. I sigh and pick it up. Someone open the door.

"Kenzie" Maddie shout. I looked up at her and see people running. I turned on my heel and bolt down the street. I'm so thankful that Abby made us run. Maddie could never out run me trust me we tried. Brynn was always closed to me but not quite. I look back every once in a while to see them trying to run after me. But I lost them when I turned the corner. I hid in someone bushes. I saw them running down the sidewalk. Once they was down the street. I made a run for the park. I ran as fast as my little legs could carried me. I was getting hungry so I stopped at the nearest taco bell which took forever to find because I have no idea where anything is in this town. I found it. I walked in and walked up to the counter.

"Hi how may I help you" the lady asked.

"Yes can I have the five dollar box please" I said to her. She type it in.

"And for your drink" she asked.

"Pepsi please" I asked she nodded and type that in as well.

"That will be six dollars" she said. I handed her the money and waited for my food. I got my food and Sat down. I checked my phone it was only six in the afternoon. It feels like forever. I just can't be in that house. I started eating looking at my phone lucky there was a wall plug right at my table so I plug my phone in and started to charge it. I can't have a dead phone I'm going to need it for the rest of the night. I grab my textbooks out. I might as well do my homework it's not like I have anything else to do. I finsh two pages of my homework and finsh my meal. I took two drinks and two of those boxes to go. I walked out and walked to the garden. I decided to go to the love triangle only because it kinda makes sense right now. I sat down taking out my rest of my homework. I sigh. Lucky they gave me enough to keep me busy for the night I'm definitely not sleeping outside. I was doing my math homework when I heard something. I jumped. I quietly sat still not making a move. It was just a little dog.

"Aw you lost too" I said bending down to pet it. It's tail wag. I got into my bag and grab one of my boxes.

"Here you go" I said putting the box down on the ground. He started eating. I smiled at him. He so lost he literary on the streets don't have nowhere to go but here i am have a room, a bed, a roof but I'm taking that for granted by not staying there. But I'm not going back that shows weakness and Mackenzie Frances Ziegler is not weak. I'm going to stay out here I'm going to school with my head held high. Like my mom always said keep your head up you don't want your crown to fall. I not scared of the dark. I will be safe. I might just go to the mall right now. Crap the dog.

"Hey puppy" I said it looked at me.

"I'm not going to hurt you OK I'm just going to put you in my bag" I said opening my bag lucky I didn't have that much stuff. He jump right into the bag. I zip it up a little he had food in there so he or she is good. I look up the mall. It was only a ten minute walk from here so I set off. I reach the mall. I walked In a went straight for the clothes store. I found a cute outfit for school tomorrow. I bought some more outfits because who knows how long my stubborn self is going to be out here. I will continue school because that's important. I went and bought new pair of shoes because I do not want to wear dress shoes tomorrow. I bought some dog treats and bottle of water. I'm so glad my I save up my allowance from last year to this year. Once I was done I had this brilliant idea.

"Mackenzie Frances Ziegler you are so stupid" I said smacking my head.

"You have money get a hotel room duh and just charge it to your parents credit card" I ran to the nearest hotel which was comfort inn.

"Hi do you allow dogs" I asked the lady.

"Yes we do" she said.

"Great can I have one room please" I asked she nodded I hand her money and went to the room. I let the dog out.

"I'm going to call you maliboo" I said. The dog jump on the bed.

"You will never turn your back on me would you" I asked. She jump and lick my face. I grab two bowls from the cupboard and filled it up with food and water for the dog.

"Here you go girl" I set it down and went to take a shower. After the shower I went and lay down.
