~Five Years Later~

King Red sat on his throne in the Royal Palace on the Indigo Plateau.  Mewtwo sat on his right and an adivsor his left.

"What is the news on the rebellion?"

"Our forces are having difficulty tracking them, your Majesty.  They seem to disappear and reappear at will.  Our Psychic types fail to sense any teleportation.  Once they were seen with a small pink Pokemon resembling a Meowth or Purrloin that floats."

'Mew.  The Pokemon I was cloned from.'

"Then it seems that we may personally have to squash this rebellion ourselves.  What do they call themselves again?"

"The New Leaf Society, lead by Green of Pallet Town."

"She is soft.  I want orders for her men to be captured when possible, so that we may execute them publicly."

"How?"

"Hanging.  Fetch a scribe."

"Yes, my king."

Once the scribe arrived.

"Copy what I say.  Effective immediatly, the New Leaf Society is to disband permanently.  Any members that remain in or join the society or a reformation of it under a new name are hereby senteced to death by hanging without trial."

Red then leaned forward, and in red wax, marked the document with his seal, making this new document law.  The original would be kept in a vault and copies would be carried far and wide through out the Kingdom of Red.  Which had expanded across the mountain range and taken Johto as well.  An easy task as the regions military had dissolved due to a former treaty under the old Kanto government.

The king thought of his tight grip.  How it was illegal for anyone to own Pokemon that did not have at least one type in common, or how certain Pokemon were completely banned unless given special permit.

Red walked out onto a balcany, and felt the cold mountain wind run over him, causing his crimson cape to billow.  He was the most powerful man in the world, and he liked it.
