New Girl {Nash Grier fanfic}

Chapter 2-

(Paige's POV)

"h-hi", I smile while stuttering a bit, completely thrown off at the fact that THE Nash Grier is my neighbor. I can't let him know that I already know who he is, he might think I'm weird or a creep and might not want to be friends with me.

"hello", he gives me a polite smile back as his little brother, Hayes, walks up next to him smiling as well. "hello, I'm Hayes", he says politely.

I think it's funny Nash is being so clam, because I watched his vines earlier and he is no where near calm.

"thank you for coming over and welcoming us to the neighborhood Elizabeth and Mr. Grier", my mom shakes both of their hands giving them a warm smile.

"please, join us for dinner tonight?", Mrs. Grier asks my mother and father, putting her hand on her husbands shoulder.

"we would love too", my mom smiles and follows them to our new front door. "see you in about two hours!", Mr. Grier says.

"bye Paige!", Hayes says smiling at me as they all pile out the door. I say a quick goodbye to everyone and my mom shuts the front door.

Maybe being here won't be so bad after all, I get to start over with a new life. "they seem like wonderful people, don't they Paige?", my mom smiles while walking swiftly to the kitchen to finish putting the newly unused utinsels into their spot in the drawers.

"great! I think I will become great friends with Nash and Hayes", I smile, actually meaning it. "well I'm going to go upstairs and get ready for dinner", I tell my mom as she nods and I run up the stairs. I go up to Joshes door and knock on it.

"Hey Josh!", I say as he opens the door letting me in. "Hey Paige", he says going back into his room and starts to work on unpacking his items. "We're going to dinner at the Griers' tonight, which is in two hours so get ready", I smile walking out the room not even waiting for a response.

I walk into my already unpacked room and plop onto my new fuzzy bed. I open up my pink MacBook laptop and type in my password. I go into my contacts and click onto Sara's. I click the call button as the webcam turns on and I wait for an answer. No answer. I sigh and click the button again. "c'mon sara!", I mumble to myself drumming my fingers on my laptop waiting for it to connect. Eventually after about a minute or two, she picks up.

"Sara!", I smile as she smiles to. "Hey what's up!?", She replies. "Ok so I have to tell you what happened so far!", I giggle getting excited. "Spill", she simply says while filing her nails. "Ok so do you know who Nash Grier is by any chance?", I ask as she drops the nail filer and basically has a mini fangirl moment. " Are you kidding me!? Of course I do! The Nash and Hayes Grier are amazing I love them!", she practically yells and I turn my volume down. "gosh calm down", I say starting to laugh. "Wait, Hayes is famous too?", I ask questioning her. "Umm, duh! I talk about them all the time but you never pay attention to me!", Sara says folding her arms. Ok then.. "Well anyways", I start to say. "They are my next door neighbors", I say simply. "Nash is gorgeous too, I just discovered who he was on my flight and I was appalled when he was at my house hours later introducing himself to my family", I babble on about this. I look at the screen and Sara is sitting there with her jaw wide open. "Your lying", she says. "Nope, I'm actually going to their house for dinner", I say.

"Paige, Josh!We are leaving in ten minutes!", my Dad yells from downstairs.

Oh crap. I still have to get ready!

"Hey I have to go, leaving in ten minutes, text you after and I will tell you details!", I say really fast as she says bye and I quickly hang up and put my laptop away.

I dash into my bathroom and plug in my curling iron. While that is heating up I pull out my heaps of makeup. Yes, I do like a lot of makeup. No, I'm not insecure or anything, I've just always liked makeup. I put on my foundation, do a light smokey eye and put on my mascara. I then get to my bronzer and blush. Last, but not least I put on some lipgloss. I put some quick, loose curls in my hair. Nothing, big, just simple.

I go into my room and grab some shorts and a shirt I got from Nordstrom. I put on some black flats grab my IPhone and run downstairs.

"Hey, sorry just running a few minutes late", I say to my family. "It's ok, just try to be more on time next time", my mom smiles as we walk on the porch waiting for her as she locks the door. I roll my eyes. My mom has a pet peeve of being late for things.

We walk onto the Grier porch and knock on the door. The door opens seconds later and it's Hayes. "come in", he smiles as his mom comes to the door and greets us inside. "Allow me", Hayes smiles as he links his arm into mine guiding me into the kitchen behind my family. I giggle, he is adorable even though he's two inches taller than me.

"I think someone has a little crush on you", a voice sounds from the other side of me as Nash walks down the stairs. All I do is laugh and we all sit at the table.
