Chapter 5-

(Paige's POV)

I continue to walk down my street. I wonder what the boys will be like. Will they like me? Will they hate me? Will they think I'm weird of ugly?

I walk around for about 10 more minutes until I arrive at the big beach house. The beach house is located in front of a beach so behind the backyard balcony is the beach and a pretty ocean.

I walk to the front door. I get really shy knowing there are a bunch of guys here so I get scared to ring the doorbell. I whip out my phone from my back pocket and pull up Nash's contact. My fingers start rapidly typing at the keyboard. I text him that I'm here at the front door. I put my phone away in my back pocket and patiently wait at the front door. After about a minute of waiting the door flys open.

"Hey Paige!", Nash greets me opening the door and letting me walk in. "Hey Nash", I smile back to him and follow him inside. "We're just in the living room chilling, let me introduce you", he says grabbing my arm and pulling me into the living room. "Hey so this is the new girl in the neighborhood I'm talking about, she wants to be a viner too", Nash smiles and all eyes turn on me. This room is a mess. There's food everywhere, loud music, blankets all over the place. This place looks like it's been trashed! These people know how to have fun! "Her name is Paige", Nash finishes. "Hey Paige!", a bunch of different boys and a girl say. " ok so this a lot of names to remember but bear with me Paige", Nash laughs and so do I. "Paige, this is Carter, Cameron, Jack G, Jack J, Matt, Taylor, Aaron, Jacob, and of course you know Hayes, and this is the one girl in magcon, Mahogany", he says pointing to each figure in the room all saying hi as he passes through each one. I wave to all of them.

Matt puts the loud, booming music back on and the boys start partying again. I have no idea what to do so I just sit next to Mahogany on the floor. "Hey Paige!", Mahogany says scooting over so I have more room next to her. "Hello", I say back smiling. "Crazy eh?", she laughs laughing and I do the same. "yes", I agree with her. Wow Mahogany is literally perfect. "So do you guys usually hang out a lot like this?", I ask her. "yes, usually about once a week, but now that it's summer we will hang out a lot more often", Mahogany retorts to me. "I'm sure you will fit right in with us, nobody ever brings anyone to join us because we usually don't find others like us, Nash must really think you will fit in with us if he brought you", she laughs giving me a hug. "welcome to the family", she says and I laugh and hug her back.

Mahogany and I take a selfie and she posts it on her Instagram with the caption "newest member of our clique @PaigeLarsson❤️" and she follows me. Before I know I'm being attack by a bunch of guys squeezing me in a group hug. "WELCOME TO THE FAMILY", they scream and attack me. I'm rolling on the floor dying in laughter the boys are still hugging me and yelling. It's like a huge dog pile. "I'm going to tickle you!", Taylor says and Taylor and Cameron start tickling me. "STOP!", I scream as I'm laughing really hard. "I CANT BREATHE", I'm dying in laughter rolling on the floor. All the boys start laughing and Nash pulls out his phone and I assume he's recording a vine. Eventually they stop and I sit up. "don't do that I'm really ticklish!", I pout to Taylor and Cameron. The boys and Mahogany start laughing again and I join them. "We should go outside on the beach and play truth or dare!", Aaron says and we all agree and start making our way there.

After we all gather around we make a circle around a small bonfire on the beach. I'm sitting in the middle of Nash and Mahogany. "ok so who's first!?", I say and everyone looks around at each other. "I will go first!", Jack G said. "umm Hayes, truth or dare?", Jack smirks and Hayes thinks for a moment. "Dare", Hayes smirks. "I dare you to go give your little crush Paige a kiss on the cheek", Jack laughs and a few others join in. Hayes' cheeks turn beat red. I giggle a little at him. "AWWW HAYES A CRUSH!", Cameron coos at Hayes and Matt laughs. Everyone starts laughing because Matts laugh is so loud and piercing it's hilarious. "Stop it guys!", Hayes groans covering his cheeks. "Aww guys don't make him do that, he's embarrassed", I giggle and I stand up and make my way over to Hayes. I lean down and kiss him quickly on the cheek. I go back to my spot next to Hayes and Mahogany and sit in between them again. "awww!", the boys and Mahogany tease Hayes and he covers his face blushing in embarassment. "Hayes' turn!", Cameron yells and Hayes looks up. "Jacob, truth or dare?", Hayes says. "Dare", he says simply. "Why don't you go kiss your bae?", Hayes smirks. "Oooooh!", Nash says and we all start laughing and Mahogany blushes and looks down.

Jacob leans over and gives Mahogany a quick kiss and everyone let's out a bunch of awes. "you guys!", Mahogany whines as she puts her head in her hands blushing. After everyone calms down we continue the game. "Ok my turn! Taylor truth or dare?", Mahogany says while playing with her long, beautiful, curly red hair. "dare!", Taylor yells a little to loud. "go jump in the ocean!", Mahogany laughs. "ok!", Taylor says being the daredevil he claims to be. He pulls off his tie dye shirt revealing his six pack and starts running towards the ocean. The boys, Mahogany and I bust out in laughter as we watch Taylor jump into the ocean and yell. "ITS COLD!", he shrieks laughing and running back over here. Instead of running to his spot he runs straight over to me. "what are you doing?", I start to say.

Before I know it I'm being lifted by a soaking wet Taylor and thrown over his shoulder. "Taylor what are you doing!?", I laugh as he starts running with me. The boys start laughing again. "He's going to throw her in oh my gosh!", Aaron laughs and you can hear Matts laugh over everyone. Wait what?

"Taylor stop!", I say as he keeps running towards the ocean with me. "TAYLOR STOP IT! STOP!", As I start to panic. The boys start laughing. "TAYLOR STOP!", I yell again and he sets me down on the cool sand. "what's wrong?", he says as the boys and Mahogany rush over to me. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to yell at you", I start to say looking down. "It's just, my cousin almost drowned a few years ago in the ocean and every since I-I've been scared to go in the ocean", I say finishing my sentence looking down at the sand embarrassed.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know", Taylor says sitting down next to me and the boys and Mahogany crowd around me. I feel a hand rubbing my back and it's Hayes. I give him a smile, forced smile. I pull out my phone and look at the time.

"oh my goodness it's almost eleven! My parents are going to ground me!", I say hopping up really fast. "I'm sorry guys, I really have to go!", I say giving them all a quick hug. "wait! let us put our numbers in your phone, so we can add you to the group message so we can let you know the next time we hang out!", Cameron says and the others nod and agree. I hand Cameron my phone and he types in his number, and he passes it on. After about a minute everyone has their number in my phone. "I will add her in the group message since Hayes and I already have her number", Nash tells the others.

"ok!", they all say and I hug everyone.
"here I will walk you back, Hayes and I have to go back too", Nash offers and I smile to him. I think that's very nice of him to do that.

Hayes and Nash both say their goodbyes and we leave out the house.

We start walking down the street with Nash in the middle of me and Hayes. "So did you have fun? I think they really like you", Nash smiles down at me. "I did, thank you for inviting me", I say and he laughs. "No problem, I had a feeling you would fit in with us", Nash flashed a smile.

After about walking for five minutes Nash starts telling me some funny stories with the boys. I listen to him. I keep looking at his hand from time to time. I don't know why but I really want to hold his hand.

I looked down at his hand for about the third time and Nash looked at me and where I was looking. "Paige?", Nash says snapping me away from my thoughts and I look up at him. "You want to hold my hand?", he asks me. It's like he can read my mind. I nod timidly.
