Peridot's corruption Part 2

Back in the Crystal gems dimension...

Lapis POV

Her gem glowed.

"PEARL!! GARNET!! GET PRISMARINE!! IT'S PERIDOT!!" I yelled.

"What is it?!" Pearl asked. Garnet and Prismarine ran up.

"Peridot! She is taking form!" I cheered.

"Put the gem down. Now." Prismarine said. I looked at Prismarine, confused.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Steven didn't know what happened to Peridot. Something must have happened. Rose said she saw Peridot turning into a corrupted gem, but Steven couldn't see her. He became so worried that the hole closed and that was right when they were in the hole. If Steven could only see Rose, the would mean she is going to wake up with some amount of damage. She will not die, but there is a small chance she will forget everything for about 24 Earth hours. Then, she will remember. She may attack us, thinking she is still with Homeworld, but she will be too weak to do much damage. Peridot will come back corrupted. We need to take her somewhere she can't attack anyone. We need to get Amber and Apatite now." Prismarine explained.

"And what if they are dead?" I asked. Obsidian heard us. I never even knew she was in the room.

"Then there is one other gem. She is the only other gem who is equipped with the knowledge of corrupted gems. Her name is Turquoise. But, be warned. She is with Homeworld and it will be hard to get her to reverse Peridot's corruption. But, if we can get her to, we cannot send her back to Homeworld. She has to stay here with us. She could get us killed." Obsidian said.

"Did you ever find Tourmaline or Sodalite?" Prismarine asked Obsidian.

"No. The Crystal gems won't let me use the Galaxy Warp pad." Obsidian said.

"Yes! That's right! We don't want you using it because you could have us killed by Homeworld!!" Pearl yelled. Obsidian scoffed and leaned back against the back of the sofa. The sofa. That brought back memories of how Peridot first found out how Steven got into the fusions gem. Lilia. I haven't fused with the others into Lilia for a month and a half now. And we stopped talking about how Connie or 'Citrine' became a gem. And when we all fused into Crystal. You know, Peridot helped a lot with helping to avoid Stevens unavoidable future.

"Lapis?! Hello?! Are you still alive?!" Prismarine called. I realized I was deep in thought. I snapped out of it.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I said. Prismarine nodded and continued scanning the gem. What Prismarine meant earlier when she said,

When she wakes up,

She said that because after Rose's vision came back, she passed out. It's been hours since then. We don't know what's wrong. Prismarine hasn't been able to figure out what's wrong. She thinks it's because the gem is processing a way to help Rose get better. The space time continuum hole to close on her. I mean, not like when you close a door in someone's face, I mean, the space time continuum hole crushed her mental form. That's what you use when talking like that Steven. And Rose got crushed when it closed. I sighed. This is hard, having to do all of this. Why does Homeworld have to exist?! Well, if not for Homeworld, Rose would have never existed, which means Steven would have never existed. That's the only good thing Homeworld has ever done. I shook away my thoughts. Peridot's form grew. She growled. Garnet summoned her gauntlets and grabbed Peridot. She ran to the Warp pad. I followed her along with Pearl. The others stayed at the temple. We warped to the Kindergarten. Garnet found one of the corrupted gem cages and put Peridot in it. It pained me to see my friend corrupted and in a cage, but Amber and Apatite will help her. I sighed.

"Peridot, you'll be okay. We are going to reverse your corruption." I said. Her eyes pleaded, while showing pain, but behind that, she was struggling to hide the anger.
