You were in charge of troop 789 of the flower scouts while their old troop leader is in drug rehab. you didn't do much you just checked to see if the wifi was working in the morning and let them all do their thing. You were mostly focused on one thing. the dance. Camp Campbell was holing a lake lilac dance and your old camp crush was going to be there.

back when you were younger you went to camp campbell with davey. You always had a crush on him.  And back then it was clear that he had a crush on you too. but there was one problem, your 'boyfriend' Jasper. (ya'll were like 10 so its not a real boyfriend. Guys nothing counts till you're in highschool, trust me I don't count my middle school boyfriends)

You didn't have a thing for jasper, you just dated him to make davey jealous. you ended up breaking up with him a few days before he went missing.

You were exited to see davey, you needed to look good.

"Miss l/n, do we have to wear our uniforms to the dance?" One of the scouts said.

"Bitch i dont care, do whatever." You said, you honestly didn't care, you were only doing this for two reasons, the money, and davey.

you finally picked out an outfit that looked ca usual but hot:

it shows off your curves and covers enough to be around kids.

You gathered everyone together before getting on the moterized boats.

"ok now girls remember what ive told you?" You asked waiting for a response.

"This is a big night for you and we should not talk to you or interact with you unless someone is dying" They all said together.

"gooooooooooood, now get on the boats" You said with a fake smile.

You had to used the restroom before you could even look for davey, (lady issues) You asked some kids for the bathroom and the gladly pointed you to it. There was a bit of a line for the bathroom. You sighed and looked at who was in the line. one short buff kid with an eye patch and one teenager with ginger hair, acne, and braces. He was clearly going through puberty pretty bad.

"Oh, I didn't know gwen had a sister, im pikeman. And you are?" The ginger said about to kiss your hand before you pulled it away.

"sorry I don't know who gwen is and im way too old for you." You said backing up a bit laughing to yourself.

"ahhhh, well your beauty will not fade in my eyes tonight" He said.

"what? OK no, bye, creep" You said with an attitude while walking away you went outside and walked around the camp finding out it is pretty much the same as when you sent here years ago, finding another bathroom and taking care of your issues.

Then you saw him, Davey.

He was caring a huge box of games and stuff.

"DAVEY!!!!" You yelled running up to him.

He turned around in supersize to be tackled by his old childhood friend.

"Oh my gosh y/n! its been so long!" He said amazed.

"wow is David getting laid right now?" this short kid in a blue hoodie asked. He was also with a girl with green pigtails and a boy with curly brown hair.

"Ignore them, lets go inside and catch up." David said.

"So I know it was a long time ago but do you and Jasper still talk, or anything?" Davey questioned, his ears turning red.

"Ummmm, no. remmber he went missing." You said sadly.

"what? Mr. Campbell told me he just left camp early." Davey said in shock.

"He was probally trying to be nice to you. he went missing on the island." You said.

"Wow I can't beli- woah wait!" David yelled running across the room cause some kids found matches.

You watch everyone go crazy while   David ran around trying to find things to do, Gwen, who you just found out who she is, was trying to hook everyone up together and that little teen try to dance with you but you refused.

Gwen put in a slow song trying to get everyone to dance together. You took this opportunity to grab David before pikeman came to you.

You grabbed David and started to slow dance.

"Davey, calm down. This party is fun. Hell! It's the most fun I've had in a long time. Don't stress, look, kids are dancing, eating laughing, just because they aren't smiling on the outside doesn't mean they're not happy. Look the flower scouts leader is coming back in about a week and I'm going to have to find another job. I have to tell you this even if you don't like what you hear, cause I don't know when I would be able to see you again. Davey, when we were little I had the biggest crush on you. I know I was dating jasper but you were the one that I liked. And I guess when I saw you again tonight it reminded me of my feelings and I guess I still feel that way." You said smiling feeling heat go to your ears.

"Y/n. I-" he didn't even finished his sentence cause he was so overwhelmed. He hugged you tightly. You were in shock and you hugged him back.

When he let go he gave you a sweat kiss on the cheek.

"Also when you're done with the flower scouts you can come and work here! It's perfect! We're always looking for another consoler!" David said.

You were so happy you kissed him.
