with a wide smile, kihyun linked his arm with shownu's large one as he pulled them away from the school.

shownu was jealous. upset to say the least. in the past few days, kihyun had been looking out for the younger boy -changkyun. kihyun had invited changkyun to their table when he had seen the younger boy sitting alone during lunch. despite the year age gap, changkyun had gotten along with everyone. maybe it was because he was considered mature for his age, or maybe the others were just a bit immature.

nonetheless, kihyun always had a wide smile on his face when he saw changkyun. even though they had only met for a few days, kihyun really saw himself in changkyun and he wanted to help changkyun just like how shownu had helped him in regaining confidence. 

but shownu on the other hand had taken a slight disliking to the new boy. it wasn't that shownu hated the boy, no it wasn't that, it was just a weird feeling and perhaps unsettling feeling that shownu felt whenever he saw his boyfriend with the young boy. 

changkyun was cute, shownu could see that. changkyun was nice and once he became comfortable with you would show aegyo and be a little clingy. changkyun was also much more expressive of his feelings than shownu was too. changkyun had a small build and was very likeable. 

shownu on the other hand, thought that he didn't possess any of those characteristics. honestly, he was scared of kihyun falling for changkyun. he had brushed those thoughts away, choosing to trust kihyun instead but it still made him upset when kihyun would pay more attention on changkyun than him. in a way shownu was craving for kihyun's attention and because he wasn't the type to express his feelings well, he kept that to himself as he bottled up his feelings.

it was friday and shownu was walking to school while thinking about his relationship with kihyun. the past few days, they had texted and called each other much less and whenever shownu called kihyun, kihyun always said he was busy and when shownu prodded his boyfriend into what he was doing, the boy would stutter a bit before answering that he was helping changkyun. not wanting to sound petty to the new and younger boy, shownu just said okay before he would hang up.

shownu sighed, of course he had never expected that their relationship would be all smiles and giggles, yet he hadn't expected nor wanted their relationship to simmer down like this. shownu continued to trudge down the main road when the small local florist caught his attention.

a few gears turned in his mind before he decided to buy a rose for kihyun and perhaps talk to kihyun about how he had been feeling. after all, honesty was key in a long-lasting relationship.

shownu was now waiting at kihyun's locker and he felt a bit shy whenever people would look at him. the school's most hot, dancing boy was holding a small, dainty rose with his bulky arms? interesting, they thought. and so shownu decided to hide the flower in his bag behind him so that he wouldn't garner that much attention. 

he looked at his phone to see there were only about 3 minutes till the bell would ring. he wanted to call kihyun but he had wanted it to be a surprise. shownu anxiously searched the bustling corridor for his boyfriend and when he finally saw him, a big smile appeared on his face and his eyes nearly disappeared. 

kihyun saw shownu and waved to him as the shorter boy tried to push past the many students that were in his way. shownu waited patiently as he tried to find kihyun in the crowd as his boyfriend was a bit on the short side. a small smile made its way to shownu's face again as he thought about his cute boyfriend.

at long last, kihyun appeared in front of shownu panting a bit as he gave shownu a wide grin. 

"what are you doing here?", kihyun asked looking up at shownu with a confused face, "your locker is on that side."
