{Tris}
It was the day of fighting and Tobias and I matched up pairs:
Charlotte and Paisley
Mia and Nico
Ty and Terrance
Annabelle and Missy
Benny and Ethan
Since there were 11 of them, Sunny wouldn't be fighting.
After we matched the pairs, we went to eat breakfast. Will and Christina were already there along with Lauren, Shauna, Zeke, Lynn, and Uriah. "Hey guys," said Uriah. He was smiling, as usual. "So, how are your initiates?"
"They're okay." I replied.
He nodded.
Zeke, Uriah, and Lynn worked at the tattoo parlor. Shauna was one of the Dauntless leaders. Durning break, Tobias and I would go to the tattoo parlor and help. A lot of initiates had their old faction sign on one shoulder, and the Dauntless sign on the other. Or, they had their fear tattooed on their back like Tori. Tori and Shauna were good friends, so we sat with her at breakfast today. "So Tris," she said as she smiled. "Any guesses on who will be Divergent?"
I thought about this for a moment. I only knew the initiates for a day and I was starting to wonder. I wished Charlotte was Divergent. She seemed strong. "I don't know," I finally said. "There may only be two or three."
"Okay! Listen up transfers! Today you will be shooting guns and learning how to fight using a punching bag! Tobias and I will show you how to combat fight."
First, we went outside and stood in front of the targets. We gave each transfer a gun. "We're using guns? For?"
I turned to see none other than Missy, giving me a pathetic look. "Yes, you do. We're teaching you how to defend you selfs, not act like a bunch of scaredy-cats. Toughen up!"
Each transfer hit the target at least three or four times in the target. Paisley was really good at aiming. I was starting to get suspicious that she may be Divergent. I was gonna have to see at fighting.

Tobias had Nico stand on the platform and Tobias showed us some moves without hurting him. Nico seemed really tough; he may be Divergent.
Everybody stood in front of a punching bag and starting punching it. Benny didn't have much muscle; he might end of factionless. Mia was a bit weak in her arms. The others were okay. Ty and Terrance were the good ones so far.
I walked over to Tobias and he laced his fingers between mine and squeezed my hand.
I squeezed back.
Missy looked over at us and looked down at our hands. She flared her nostrils and glared at me. To make her even a little more jealous, I stood on my tippy toes and gave a short but passionate kiss to Tobias on the lips. Missy growled and went back to punching.
I turned to look at a smiling Tobias. "Is that the girl?"
"Yep. Told you there would be one."
"I guess you were right." He leaned in and kissed me again before holding hands with me to the watch the transfers.

We dismissed them to go to lunch. Most of them were all sweaty or tired, so they took a shower. Benny looked really tired. He may not end up in Dauntless. I was starting to worry.
All the others were already there once we sat down. I took a chicken leg and bit into it. It tasted uncooked. The food wasn't that amusing; I lost a bit of my appetite.
"You wanna go back to the apartment?"
"Yeah. Sure."
Tobias and I walked in silence back to our apartment. The light was on in our living room. We sat on the couch and talked. We talked about the initiates and our future. As we were talking, Tobias's eyes look far away. The looked like they were looking for something that he couldn't find. "What's wrong?" I looked at him with concerning eyes.
"Uh...oh nothing. I was just thinking...about us...in the future." He leaned over and kissed me on the forehead. I looked into his eyes, smiling at me.
"What about our future?" A smile was creeping up my face.
"I don't know...going outside the city... Living together for rest of our lives." He leaned in and kissed me briefly on the cheek. Tobias checked his watch and it said 12:57. "C'mon, we gotta go. Let's see them kick butt!"
I laughed. He always had some sense of humor in him. "I love you." I stood on my tippy toes and kissed him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and he puts his hand on my hips.
"I love you," Tobias says as he pulled away.
"I love you too."
"I love you three."
"I love you four."
"I know," he said this with a smirk on his face.
I smiled back and took his hand as we both walked hand in hand to the training room.
