The Pevensie children were scattered around their home, Lucy the youngest, was in bed asleep, Edmund the second youngest was in the living room looking out of the window intrigued while one of his older sisters, Laura, sat on the couch reading the hobbit, with her legs tucked underneath her, her twin sister, Susan, was upstairs preparing herself to go to bed, while Peter, the eldest of the children was in the kitchen helping their mother. Suddenly bombs started to fall causing Mrs Pevensie to run to the living room to grab somethings to take to the shelter.
When she finds her youngest son staring out the windows she says in an exasperated tone "Edmund! Get away from there!" this instantly caused Laura to snap back to reality and look at her mother and younger brother, "What do you think you're doing?" The mother says to Edmund as she calls out for her eldest son before turning to her middle daughter saying "Couldn't you have kept him away from the window Laura?!"
The tall brunette looked at her mother in shock as she rose from her place on the couch just as her older brother entered the living room in a rush, "Peter quickly the shelter! Now!" Helen Pevensie said before Peter grabbed his younger brother and started to pull him with him outside saying "Come on." Edmund tried to pull back to grab something saying "Wait..." but Peter kept pulling him interrupting his younger brother "Come on! Leave it!"
Helen grabbed a blanket and a lantern while Laura Pevensie grabbed another blanket and held her book tightly close to her, Helen reached for her daughter and pulled her close to her as the two made their way to the kitchen. Meanwhile upstairs, Susan went to her and her sisters's bedroom to grab a book before going to join her sibling when she saw her youngest sister in her bed covering her ears terrified, "Lucy, come on!" Susan said as she reached for the 8 year old's hand pulling her out if the bed.
After joining their mother, sister and brothers the Pevensie family rushed outside to their bunker shouting "Come on, quickly!" "Run!" "Run!" "Hurry!" "Mum!" meanwhile Laura's foot had slipped on the stairs that lead to the garden where the bunker was causing her to fall and scrape her knee while her foot landed on a not so pleasant position, "Wait! Dad!" Edmund called out and turned around running back into the house, "Ed!" Peter and Laura called out to try and stop him but with no avail.
"Edmund, no!" Helen called out scared for her youngest son, "I'll get him!" Peter said turning around too, meanwhile Edmund was nearing the kitchen door with a limping older sister not far behind him, "Peter, come back!" Helen shouted frantic as the bomb explosions were nearing their house. "Ed! Come here!" Peter called but as soon as the three Pevensie's reached the living room a bomb fell near the house causing Peter to scream "Edmund! Laura! Get down!" while tackling them both to the ground just as Edmund was reaching for their father's picture.
The windows shattered making glass fly all over the room and Laura let out a small shriek "Come on, you idiot, run!" Peter shouted as he helped Edmund up and Laura called out to him "Peter help, my foot hurts." Peter pulled his middle sister up and walked as fast as he could while supporting her, "Get out!" the two elder sibling shouted at Edmund who was now clutching the glass broken picture tightly in his hand.
The trio made their way back outside where Laura was quickly falling behind not having enough strength to continue and her ankle hurting, which in turn made Peter quickly help her get on his back and continue to run "Thanks Peter." she whispered to him breathlessly, "Come on!" Helen shouted at her children, while Susan and Lucy waited in the bunker scared for their lives and their siblings, "Hurry!" The mother quickly added just as the trio entered the bunker, Peter pushing Edmund into one of the beds.
"Why can't you think of anyone but yourself? You're so selfish! You could've got us killed!" Peter shouted at his younger brother as he helped his sister off his back and next to Susan who instantly hugged her twin tightly to her. "Stop it!" Helen demanded as Edmund looked at their father's picture sadly and breathless, "Shh, It's okay..." Helen soothed him as she held him close to her. "Why can't you just do as you're told?" Peter tells him softly before closing the door shut behind him leaving the family in darkness.
