#5 Jealous: Hayes Grier

For all the Hayes girls including me!!! :)

You were helping Mahogany with the equipment from the previous event. Meanwhile, all of the boys’ were playing with the new toys they received in the meet and greet. They were mostly playing with their nerf guns, especially Carter, Hayes, and Cameron. “Thanks for your help!” Mahogany greets you a smile as you wave goodbye to her. You then hopped off the stage to meet the boys. You started to walk over to your best friend, Hayes until you were stopped by Cameron and Aaron. “Hey, y/n!” they yell in sync. “Hey guys.” You laugh. “Wanna play?” they ask holding out an extra gun. “Sure…I just don’t know how to…”

“What?” they say in shock. You look at their faces which looked pretty hilarious to you. You shrug your shoulders. “I’m a girl, guys.” You remind them.

“Right…” Cameron laughs as he comes from behind you. Aaron stands in front of you as they both place the gun in your hand. You watch as Aaron loads the gun with the Styrofoam piece.

You feel Cameron’s hand on your side as he holds the gun with your hand. “Okay, you just pull this.” He whispers next to you as you feel your body tingle. Aaron gives you a sweet smile as he gets out of the way. “Shoot right at that table.” He says as he points to your target. You bite your lip as you watch in concentration. You act as if you were aiming with a real gun.

Cameron pulls the trigger, letting it go with both of your fingers together. You heard the suction on the surface of the table. “Woah.” Aaron cheered you on as you felt Cameron hug onto you in the back.

“Nice pants, y/n!” you heard from Nash and Shawn behind you. They were walking by. You smile and wave turning around to Hayes. You knew he was a fan of the nerf guns as well. You watch him as sight as he looks at you. “Cameron and Aaron taught me how to use a nerf gun!” you say to him.

He looks at you, unfriendly. Did you do something wrong? “I saw.” He simply says before hopping off the stage. “Young love.” Cameron teases.

“Shut up, dude.” Hayes finally says staring at you all. “I didn’t…” Cameron starts to say as you step closer to Aaron.

Hayes POV

Didn’t Cameron know? I’ve told him that I liked y/n. I’m pretty sure everyone knows that. She’s just so perfect; I need her to be mine. It’s hard considering, she’s around ten other guys all the time. “You’re an asshole.” I said to Cameron. He looked at me shocked. “Sorry man…” he says patting my back. I wipe his hand off as I start to leave for my room. It was getting late anyways. I take the quickest way possible up to my room, the side staircases. I hear footsteps coming closer and closer as I keep walking. I pick up my pace as I finally reach my room. Sliding the key in, I jump into the coziest bed ever.

Two minutes of having my freedom, the time was over. The door knocked. I sigh slugging my body off of the bed. “What.” I rudely say, regretting it a few moments later. “Hayes…open up.” A voice says.

I usually recognize voices pretty well, if it was one of the guys, but this one stood out the most. It definitely wasn’t a guy though, it was y/n.
