#10 Reunited: Jacob Whitesides

Reunited

       Your eyes began to water as you watched Jacob walk up to the microphone and sit down on the chair, strumming the guitar strings a few times. Your phone vibrated against your hip and you swiftly pulled it out to see a message from Jack Johnson.

“You ready?”

It said. You looked up to see Jack and Taylor looking at you with a smile. You gave them a thumbs up and giggled as they made silly faces.

It had been 4 months since you had seen Jacob, 4 months of 5 minute FaceTime calls and quick

“I love you”s

over text.

Jack Johnson realized how much Jacob missed you when apparently Jacob had began crying out for you in his sleep.

Johnson also had a girlfriend and realized how much it must hurt Jacob so he called you up out of the blue and decided to have you surprise him.

The corner of your lips went up as Jacob licked his lips nervously and spoke into microphone.

“Hey guys! Obviously I’m Jacob and I’m gonna be singing Fall by Justin Bieber! Sing along if you know the words!”

He grinned as he scanned the crowd.

Jacob began singing into the microphone as his fingers moved along the guitar strings.

You glanced over at Johnson and Gilinsky and they pointed above you as the spot light from the ceiling began to move towards you.

Everybody turned to see where it was heading, only to have it land on you. Jacob’s wide eyes met your excited ones as he stood up, practically dropping his precious instrument onto the ground.

“Y/N!”

He screamed as he jumped down from the stage and pushed through the surprised fans.

You sprinted as fast as you could towards him, jumping into his arms when you met midway.

“I missed you so much.”

You sobbed into his shoulder. His grip tightened on your waist as you felt one of his tears hit the back of your neck.

“I missed you so much more, baby.”

He muttered into your hair.
