hi guys, this is my first story so its not gonna be perfect but ill try my hardest!
Chapter 1
*Audrey's Point of View*
* DING DING DING* "I won Niall I won!" I shouted across the arcade. " What'd you win?" Niall said as he turned around with a greasy cheeseburger in his hand and ketchup all around his lips. Niall and I had been best friends since the 1st grade, and he always had food in his hands or on his face. " A stuffed dinosaur" i said giddy with excitement. " That's no fair I want one too!" Niall said as he pouted. "That's too bad i got the last one and you don't have as much skill as i do to get it out of the claw machine," I bragged. "Wanna bet?" Niall said with a sinister grin on his face. "Nooo, my mommy says its impolite to bet" I said in a childish tone. "Well that's a shame because ill get an even better dinosaur just like it and ill make you look like a fool" Niall said. " Well you won't today mommy said we have to get back home by 3 and its already 2:30!" "Fine, Niall said not seeming enthusiastic about the long walk home.
*Flashback Ends*
It had been 9 whole years since me and Niall first met in school and I had just recently realized that i had a little bit of a crush on him, But that didn't matter anyways, Niall's band was becoming a big hit, especially in the U.S. which i had only been to a few times, when my father (who divorced my mother in the 7th grade) wanted me to come out. Niall and i still talked a lot but it was hard to stay "best friends" when you were miles apart. I meant to be happy for him and everything but it was really hard when he was out in the real world having a great life, getting any girl he could dream of and i still have to finish my last few exams back here in the "most exciting place in ireland". As I sat there day dreaming i barely heard the distant tone of my ring tone specialized for Niall. "Hot Girls We Have Problems Too! Were Just Like You, But Were Hot Hot Hot Hot... Niall had set it for me when he first found the song, and i had just never thought of changing it, it was ridiculous just like him. I picked up my phone just in time to hear that lovely Irish accent that lately had been pooping into my dreams. "Audrey! Hey i missed you So much! " Yeah I've missed you too! Mullingars definitely not the same without you here" I said trying not to sound to desperate. "Well I've got great news! Guess who gets to come on tour with the band for a whole year!" he said practically yelling into the phone. "I don't know who? I said jokingly. "The one and only Audrey Bristol! Hurry youve only got 1 day before me and the gang come and pick you up" Niall said. "But my exams-" "Dont worry, Niall said ive already talked to your parents and teachers and your taking your exams early better start studying! "But I-" i started ."Oops gotta go another rehearsal see you soon Audrey!" I sat back thinking how he planned this all out but was woken out of my day dream when my msister, Kaitlyn screamed a high pitched scream. I rushed downstairs to see my sister fighting off a horrid kitchen fire. "What have you done?" I screamed. "It doesn't matter just help me!" my sister beeged. My sister had always been the tall skinny long brown hair straight-a student that always had the perfect teeth and the perfect smile and the perfect boyfriend. She had recently tried to take my shine in the one of the only places i shine, athletics. I loved to play soccer and field hockey but my favorite was sailing. As a kid i managed to visit my grandpa quite freqently, and he lived by a huge lake. My grandpa was a sailor and taught me all the ropes as a kid but when he passed away i stopped sailing because i didnt find it as fun without him. Snapping beack to reality i quickly put out the fire as my sister let out a huge sigh. The damge wasnt too bad, but it definitly wouldnt go unnoticed. My sister, being two years older, began to ask me all these questions of what we should do, and as i tried to calm her down i found my self quickly falling asleep.
*Next Morning*
I awoke to the sound of the door opening, and started to freak out only until i remembered that my mother had just come home-late. I couldn't blame her she had a hard job, she was a nurse and delivered babies which was a full time job, which meant it was hard for me to have such a strong relationship with her, as others did with their moms. I looked like my mom, long blonde hair, tall green eyes but i would never compare myself to her, she was beautiful and i was- i was average looking, not the worst but definitely not the best. I carefully went back to bed and awoke to my mom yelling at me telling me i had slept through the whole day. Slept through the whole day? that means i only had a matter of hours to pack for the tour. I couldn't believe i only had to pack my whole life into a bag and leave home for a whole year. I was too busy thinking when i realized Niall had barged through my door with the boys and asked if i was ready to go, "I just have a few more things to pack" i managed to spit out of my mouth. "A few more things there's nothing in this!" Niall said as he picked up the empty suitcase. "oh...yeah, well our flights not until tomorrow can't you guys just watch a movie as I pack?" i asked. "Yeah that's cool with us" Liam said. I walked to the other room and turned on the tv, I gave the remote to Niall knowing he had already knew how to work the TV but he quickly gave it to Louis saying he wanted to help me pack. "Alright, what should we start with?" I said as we walked back to my room. "Clothes?" he asked questionably. "Alright that sounds easy" i replied. As we finished packing my stuff I noticed Niall staring at me across the room, i gave him a glance and his eyes darted across the room, i didn't know what was with him but i was sure i would figure out what it was on the 6 hour plane ride we had tomorrow.
