I woke up frantically, i was sweating and my heart was beating rapidly. I had a horrible dream, I was back home sailing with Niall when a couple of thugs got on the boat and took us hostage. They tied us up with rope and gaged us, I listened to them plan to take Niall and throw him in the ocean. The men came in and took Niall. I looked at him one last time and in those icy blue eyes all I could see was fear. I managed to jump to my feet even as they were tied, and caught a glimpse of the man throwing my father over. I didn't know what to do so I haggled up the stairs and jumped in as well. I couldn't breathe, I couldn't move and everything was about to go black. That's when I woke up, I looked around the room but Niall was nowhere to be found. I began to lounge about our suite in search for Niall until i hear a faint sob. I ran back to our bedroom and saw Niall on the terrace crying. I walked towards him, not knowing what to do. I sat next to I'm as he cried. I didn't ask him what happened because to be honest I didn't want to know. He looked up at me with his red eyes, I felt like crying myself.
"Thank you Audrey." He said. "Don't worry, Just know I'm always there for you when you need it," i replied. "You can go back to sleep now if you want," he said with a sad look on his face. "That's okay I couldn't sleep anyways". "Why not?" he asked. I think talking about this got his mind off whatever he was so upset about. "Bad dream," I said like it was nothing. "Are you gonna tell me what its about?" Niall said. "No, but I think we better get some sleep. We can talk in the morning," I said. After a little persuasion me and Niall rolled into bed. "Audrey, your the best friend I could ever have." he said. Friend. Friend. Friend. I hated that word, i wanted to be more than friends so badly but I couldn't tell him that now and I had yet to find out why he was crying. "Thanks Niall, your not so bad yourself," I said jokingly. Niall rubbed my back like he knew I loved as I drifted off to sleep. Before I let the rest I needed completely take me under I heard Niall murmur something in my ear "I..I...you." That's all I heard. I needed to know what he said but it was too late i was already half asleep and I knew I wouldn't be able to stop myself now.
I woke up to the sunlight in my face, it looked like Niall had ordered room service, not that much of a surprise he left a few pancakes, which was good enough for me considering he was Niall. I picked up the fork and began shoveling the food into my mouth until Niall walked into the room with a towel around his waist. Guessing he had just came from the shower he looked at me like I was crazy. "What are you doing!" Niall screamed. "Ummm...eating?" I replied with a questionable look on my face. "I was saving that for later!" Niall said with a sad face. "Too late now!" I said laughing. I had one last piece of pancake on my fork until Niall leaped across the bed in his towel may I add and grabbed the pancake shoved it in his mouth and sarcastically said Thanks Babe! "Niall! I was gonna eat that!" I said whining. "Too bad looks like I'm the winner this time!" he replied. "Whatever, what do you want to do today Niall, its one of the only days you have off" I said like it was a huge deal even though it really wasn't. "I don't know wanna go for a walk before the boys think of something better to do with MY best friend?" Niall said. "Sure lemme just change really quick." We both quickly grabbed some clothes and headed out the door.
We drove to a nice quiet town where not many people were, Niall looked around with a face of approval, and we started walking down the street. We stopped in Jack Wills, a nice British clothing store and Niall bought a nice hoodie, but I didn't find anything I liked. "Why didn't you get anything Audrey? I'm sure one of those dresses would have looked nice on you" Niall said. "Not really my style I guess." I replied. "Well what about that one?" Niall said as he pointed to a dress in a shop. It was beautiful and I was happy when Niall finally persuaded me to try it on. It was dark blue and went just above my knees. I came out of the dressing room and smiled as Niall said "Oh My God Girl it looks FABULOUS!" I laughed, "Come on seriously what do you think?" I said. "I think it looks great, you could wear it to our beach trip next week. "Beach Trip?" I said confused. "Yeah me you the boys and Liam's and Louis girlfriends are all going to the beach.. didn't I tell you?" Niall asked. "No, I don't think it came up" I said. "Oh well I hope your okay with that," Niall said. "Yeah that will be great, I just need to get a few swimsuits but I can figure that out later." I said shocked. "So do you want to get the dress?" Niall asked. "Yeah but I think I'm gonna come back, I didn't know we were shopping so I didn't bring my wallet." I said. "Well ill buy it for you," Niall said. "No its fine, don't worry" I said. "No i want to" Niall insisted. "Are you sure?" I said. "Positive." Niall said smiling. I quickly changed out of the dress and me and Niall bought the dress and as soon as we stepped outside the store fan huddled around us screaming at Niall for an autograph and pictures. Niall quickly grabbed onto my hand and ran, we ran as fast as we could until I was all out of breath and the fans were out of sight. It was annoying having to deal with all the fans, but we got through it. We hopped in his car as he asked me want to go. "Ice cream?" I suggest. "Yeah that sounds great!" Niall said. As we drove to the next town over we blasted Drive By, by train and sang as loud as we could. We stopped at a small ice cream shop and grabbed some cones. We hopped back in the car and drove back to the hotel.
We reached our room and had just sat down when I realized Niall still had ice cream all over his face. I grabbed a tissue from the nearest tissue box and attacked his face wiping it clean. "What was that for?" Niall said. "You had ice cream all over your face dumbo," I said jokingly. "Oh thanks" Niall said. "So what happened last night?" I said nervously. "Umm, well you- you cant tell anyone okay," Niall said. "Yeah of course I'd never do that to you" I said. "I got a text from my my mum last night, and my grandma shes sick, shes really sick" Niall said starting to tear up. "Well is she gonna make it?" I asked. I had met her plenty of times, and she had always been in a great attitude. "I dont know I just want her to be okay!" Niall said. He was sobbing by now I put my arm around him and cuddled him close. We sat there silent for a few minutes until there was a knock on the door. "I don't want to be seen like this" Niall said. "Then well hide you in the bathroom" I said. He stood up and stretched, he went into the bathroom and stood there as I ran to open the door. All the boys were standing there. "Wanna go get something to eat?" Louis asked. "Wheres Niall?" Harry said. "Yeah where is Niall?" Liam asked. "Umm hes..in the bathroom." I said, "lemme go see if hes up for lunch". "When isn't he up for lunch?" Louis said. "Your hilarious, ill be right back." And with that I shut the door and went to check on Niall. "They want to go to lunch, you wanna go?" I asked. "Sure, just tell them well be a second" Niall said. "Okay, why don't we meet them there?" I say. "No I shouldn't take that long" He said. "Alright well start getting ready now," I said with a smile. He smiled back and I went to tell the boys to wait for us in the parking lot, they all agreed and I shut the door and turned on the tv trying to pass time while waiting for Niall. Niall came in without a shirt and in his boxers. "Oh sorry!" Niall said. Even though we had been friends since we were little I still had never seen him in nothing besides his boxers besides his swimsuit. "No its- fine" I said. "Can you just pass me a shirt and a pair of shorts?" Niall said. "Yeah, No problem," I threw him some shorts and a shirt and he changed, we walked down to the parking lot and the boys were all there waiting. "What took you so long?" Louis said impatiently. "Yeah I'm hungry" Harry whined. "Sorry lets go" I said. We all piled into the van and I was about to sit next to Liam when Niall said "Audrey, sit back here!" "Uhh- sure" I said. I sat next to Niall and he smiled. "Audrey sit next to me!" Louis mimicked. "Okay Niall cause your the man!" Harry said playing along. "I do not talk like that" I said. All the boys were laughing but Niall just sat there bright red. I nudged him and asked if he was okay. He just shook his head. We arrived at a restaurant and we were about to take our seats when Louis said "Niall want Audrey to sit next to you now too?" Niall just glared at him. I sat down next to Niall and checked my phone. I sent Niall a text that said "Don't worry their just being assholes." Niall checked his phone and looked at me and smiled. I really wanted to kiss him, but I couldn't and definitely not while the boys were there. Guess I would have to wait till later.
