Austin POV
As soon as i got home from work i dropped everything and took a shower, a long hot shower. When i got out i walked to my room and changed into sweats. I walked out of my room to the kitchen to see my ma eating diner with Sophia.
"brother guess what i did at preschool!?" Sophia said jumping in her seat.
"what?" i asked smiling and sitting down next to her at the island.
"we made candy snowman!" she yelled as she jumped. Her dark curly hair bouncing everywhere.
"yeah where is it?' i asked her.
"i ate it" she said.
"Austin?" my mother asked.
"yeah?" i asked her turning to face her.
"after i put Sophia to bed, we are taking" she told me picking up Sophia and walking off. I sighed knowing i have alot to make up. I grabbed all the dishes and washed them. Soon i heard my mom walking in and sitting down on the stool, i sat next to her.
"what do you want to talk about?" i asked her. Me and my mom have always been pretty close.
"why haven't you told me about Jenna?" she asked me.
"ma i was going to tell you. " i told her trying to make up some lie in my head.
"why didn't you?" she asked me
"never had a perfect chance to tell you" i told her.
"how long has its been?" she asked me.
"not long" i told her.
"are you guys serious?" she asked me.
"we are i guess" i told her.
"what do you mean you guess?' she asked me.
"i don't know ma" i said.
"but you guys are intimate' she said running her hands through my hair.
"we are, " i mumbled.
"don't do anything stupid okay" she told me and i nodded.
"I'm not ready to be a grandma yet" she said and i laughed.
"I'm not gonna be a father any time soon" i told her and she smile.
"i hope not" she said before giving me a kiss on the forehead.
"i have work in 20 minutes" she said and i sighed.
"bye ma love you" i told her and she walked out the house in her baby blue scrubs.
"make sure you take Sophia to preschool before school" she told me.
I made my way to my room and fell on to my bed, so tired.
"brother?" asked a soft voice from the door. I sat up and noticed Sophia in her pink onies and in her left hand her pink bunny.
"yes?" i asked her. She slowly walked in and climbed on to the bed and sat down on my lap.
"who was the girl in the morning?" she asked me and i laid back and she laid on my chest.
"her name is Jenna" i told her.
"who is she?' she asked me.
"uh my girlfriend" i said.
"she'spretty" she said.
"i know she is" i told her.
"when will she be back?" she asked
"not sure, but you need to go to sleep. you have preschool" i told her .
"can i stay here?" she asked
"why not" i said and she crawled off me and cuddled up in the blankets in her side. I rolled my eyes and got under the covers.
