This was exactly what I needed. It was just my mom and I. We spent the day together watching movies.
I lay my head in her lap as she stroked my hair softly to soothe me. She knew exactly how my day was going.

Once the movie ended, it was like it was time for interrogation. She turned the television off and let a out a deep sigh,
"Alright, y/n, tell me exactly what's going on."

She grabbed my hand and held it as she continued to stroke my hair. I took a breath,
"Mom. . . I just- don't worry about it." I say while playing with her hand like a five year old. I placed her hand on my cheek and squeezed my eyes shut.

"Honey, it's alright. I know this is about Wonpil. You can tell me anything." She kisses my forehead, continuing to stroke my hair. "Whatever it is, you've got to confront him. You both can't just continue on like this. Talk it out with him and see how things go."

I listened to her speak. . . her voice calmed me as I had come to realize that she was exactly right.

I looked up at her and smiled as tears dripped down the sides of my face to my ears. She leaned over and hugged me as I sobbed into her shoulder. "Thanks so much, mom. I love you."

"I love you too, hun. Now go call or email him or whatever it is you kids do these days." I laugh as she fumbles over her words. We pulled apart and she smiled brightly while wiping the tears from the corners of my eyes.

I stood up from the couch and went up to my room. 'We'll talk and it'll be fine. H-He loves me. . .'
Finally, I reach my bedroom. I close my door and make my way over to the edge of my bed, grabbing my phone from the night stand.

I noticed messages from Wonpil. Every word made my heart skip a beat. It showed how much he truly worried about me.

I smile.

"answer me soon, y/n ♥"

I could just imagine him saying that.

'I-Is that Wonpil?'
I looked at the picture he had sent along with the barrage of messages. He was so cute. My heart fluttered as I imagined him in front of me. I closed my eyes, gripping my phone tightly in my hand against my chest.

'You should have revealed yourself sooner.' I smiled to myself again and began texting him.

You: Is this you, Wonpil?

You: I can't believe it. . . It's you!

You: you're so cute

. . .

kkkkwp: Y/n! I missed you so bad.

kkkkwp: I'm so sorry

You: I missed you too :)

kkkkwp: I can't text you right now

You: why not?

. . .

. . .

He didn't respond. I became frustrated all over again. 'What's he doing now?'
It had been a minute or two that I sat in silence before finally, my phone rings.

The screen lit up. 'Wonpil ♥'
I answer and held the phone to my ear. "Y/n? Are you there? I had to call you instead because I'm driving." He says almost immediately.

I let out a sigh of relief, "Oh! But isn't it a bit late? Where are you heading?"

"I-I'm just picking up a couple things. Uh, are you alright, y/n?" He stutters.

"I'm fine, Wonpil. Well, I'm more than fine. . . that picture you sent- is it you?"

"Y-Yeah. . ."

He doesn't say anything more. Then I start to giggle, "You know, you look really cute in that sweater."

I hear him start to chuckle, "Do I?"

"Yes, you really do." I say then let out a sigh, "I want to see you more often."

He pauses for a minute. . . "Oh, uh, I think I could do that. I-If your really like my face that much." He laughs in embarrassment.

"Really? You'd actually do it?" I say while fiddling with the edge of my shirt.

"I promise. I won't let you down again, muah." He kisses the phone. I could feel blood rushing to my cheeks.

"Wonpil, I-" My phone beeps in my ear, signalling that I've got a text from a chat room.

"What is it, y/n?"

"I got a text from. . ." I pull the phone from my ear, briefly, to check the name. "Kerrie."

"Oh, Kerrie? Whats she saying?" Wonpil sounded a bit worried.

"She says, 'touchdown'?" I raised a brow. Then my phone beeped again, but this time signalling a low battery. I hurriedly tried to reply to Kerrie.

1% battery

"Maybe she's just-" Wonpil was cut off by the death of my phone battery. 'Nooo' my inner self cried. Then I run around my room, digging through everything for a charger.

"MOM! My phone died. I need your charger!"

Wonpil's p.o.v
"Maybe she's just-" click.

What happened? Did she hang up?

"Hyung? You're off the phone? Can you tell me where we're going now?!" Dowoon says sounding cranky.
He may need to go back to sleep, he's definitely tired.

"We're. . . going to the. . . airport-" I say slowly while pulling the car over.

"Airport? But why?" He pouts.

"Because-" my phone buzzes in my lap and I look down. It's Kerrie.

'The plane landed and I'm heading toward the exit. Where are you?'

I reply saying 'I'm close by' then driving toward the front entrance.

Aren't I forgetting something? . .

*about ten minutes later

'i'm outside. where are you?' - Kerrie

'i'm right here! the white car.' - Wonpil

'there's not a single white car out here. . .' - Kerrie

I am forgetting something. . .
Of all things to forget. This is the worst thing I could have ever done. I suddenly remebered when Kerrie told me that Y/n told her the area I live in.

It's actually not where I live. I told Y/n I lived in Seoul but really I live in Incheon.
Kerrie, I'm so sorry for letting you waste money on tickets to Seoul.

'my apologies, Kerrie. I'm terribly sorry. I'm on my way to get you.' - Wonpil

'what? are you not here?' - Kerrie

'i am not. please hear me out when I get there.' - Wonpil
