Ch. 2: Why the enemy?

Wonpil and I talked all night, just getting to know one another. His attitude was great, he was chill and easy to talk to. I liked that about him and he was good at listening, even when I started to ramble. He didn't like to talk about himself much, as he saw it as being selfish. I didn't think so. I enjoyed listening to him. It was weird, it started to feel like I've known him forever. It had been a while since I clicked with anyone like this and I never wanted to stop texting him. But as the night went on, everything became a blur as drowsiness washed over me.

I wake up this morning feeling good about the conversation I had last night with Wonpil. I can feel the need to get back online again start to surface.
"Y/n!" My mom calls for me and I rush downstairs with a small grin.

"Wow, that's some energy you've got there. You seem a bit happy today, what's up?" My mom inquired.
"Nothing. . . I just made a new friend last night and it turned out great." I sipped on my orange juice.
"In that chat-message-group thing?" I choked on my juice, "Mom please," I laughed and she did to. Technology seems to just confuse her especially since she's more old school. "i'll be in my room."

I leave the kitchen with my plate of breakfast to my room and sit on my bed with my phone in hand, ready for conversation.

You: I thought u couldn't see those if u leave the chat and everything resets. . .

d3rpythelegend: I knew it! Roí has some sort of inside access to the server T-T

burntxc0okie: shhh . .

Kerrie_: I'm kinda lost here so fill me in pls

You: fill u in? but there's nothing-

burntxc0okie: Y/N HIT IT OFF WITH THE MYSTERY MAN FROM LAST NIGHT

You: eh. . . u definitely hacked the servers

burntxc0okie: don't think too hard about that lolz

burntxc0okie has left

Kerrie_: gasp . . . gurl, who????

d3rpythelegend: I'm all ears

You: chris ur so nosy omg he's just some random that joined a random chatroom that just so happens to be ours.

You: and we did NOT hit it off

Kerrie_: ur so guilty y/n LMAOOO sure about that?
