Bigby and Snow exited the run down grocery store with Clementine following close behind them AJ gripping her shoulders as she walked. The three walked in silence Bigby and Snow stealing glances at each other a few times before Clementine broke the silence, she needed some answers like who are these people? how did they find her and AJ and know her name?? "Hey uh ....just who are you people ....yeah I know your names but that's about it...." Clementine spoke up as Bigby and Snow turned to her "Lets call a taxi and we will explain once we are in a safe area..." Snow says as Clementine gave her a skeptical look but just nodded her head "Well....ok" Clementine spoke as Bigby looked down the street, he looked both ways before his golden eyes spotted a taxi diving down the street. He waved his hands in the air causing the taxi to come to a slow stop. "Alright get in" Bigby spoke opening the backseat door for the two girls. Snow took AJ out of his carrier and handed him to Clementine. The two got into the car and Bigby squeezed himself in the back as well. He shut the door and told the taxi driver to drive back to fable town.

AJ wiggled a bit in Clementine's lap trying to get comfortable in her lap. In the end he ended up leaning back in her lap. Clementine chuckled as she saw this. Bigby looked over at the two curious of their relationship, he hoped that they were siblings...but the kid was a mundy....and Clem was a fable...."Hey , uh Clementine ....he your kid?" Bigby asked awkwardly as Snow gave a light glare at him while Bigby just shrugged. Clementine looked over at him, she had been asked that a lot so it never really bothered her. "Well kinda...he isn't my actual son, but I'm all he has....and he's all I have you know. " She answered holding the small boy close to her. Bigby just nodded a sad look came across his face as he looked out the taxi window. Snow gave the girl a soft smile, Hopefully they can keep her safe...give these two children a new life a childhood for fuck sake!.

The rest of the ride back to the office was quiet and short. When the taxi came to a halt in front of their destination, Bigby opened his door and climbed out holding the car door open for Snow and Clem. They both climbed out as well closing the car door before the taxi drove off. Clementine looked around at the city in awe as she held AJ in her arms. So this is ...what the nice side of New York city...wow... Snow smiled at the girl seeing her look around in awe and curiosity. "Come along Clem once we are inside we will explain everything to you." Snow replied as Clem looked over at her and nodded as she followed the two adults into the building. "So um....when will you take me home after this?" Clementine asked looking at the two of them as they walked. "If you're talking about your apartment in the slums then no." He replied "We will discuss where your going to live trust us ok?" He spoke looking down at the girl. Clementine just sighed and nodded her head, she guess she'd have to be patient.

When they arrived at the office Bigby opened the door for them letting the two girls inside. Snow walked inside and smiled at Bigby, he could be such a gentlemen sometimes...Clementine walked inside looking around in curiosity....this was a huge office...."Over here Clementine take a seat. " Snow replied sitting at a desk that's full of books. Waking over to the desk and sat in the chair adjusting AJ on her lap. "Clementine, do you know what a fables are?" Snow asked as Clem tilted her head to the side what kind of question is that. "Of course I do, why?" she questions looking at the two adults. "Well.....Clem long ago....fables were forced to leave their homelands and come...well here in New York..." Bigby spoke as Clementine gave a confused look...."What....are you on about...?" Clem questioned. "Clementine....Snow and I are fables. She's Snow White and I um I'm the big bad wolf,....you yourself Clem are a fable a wolf like me. " Bigby spoke as Clem gave the two of them a blank stare. "......you people are crazy....." She started as she looked at Snow "You expect me to believe you're a princess and you're the big bad wolf and I'm some kind of wolf?...sorry but I'm not crazy." Clementine spoke as the supposed fables sighed. They knew she wasn't gonna believe them straight off the back good thing they had proof.....

Snow grabbed a book that was sitting on the desk and opened it, she flipped some pages before she landed on a certain page and put the book in front of Clementine, " Here Clementine...read this " She replied as Clem raised an eye brow at her giving her a "really?" look.  "Clementine please....it'll help." Bigby spoke he really wanted Clementine to understand her situation. Once she did he can talk about how he's been having weird dreams about her.....wow when he thinks about saying it like that....it sounds....wrong....

Clementine looked down at the book and began reading the page, her eyes widen when this page had a picture of her hiding behind a large wolf and the other page had her name on it with...a bit of info on it. This is crazy....what the hell...Clementine looked up them "I...what is this...how ...I" Clem started as Snow chuckled a bit "This Clementine is the book of fables." she replied " Since you are a new fable you don't.. have that much on your page unless you tell us about your life will you tell us your...backstory..?" Snow explained as Clementine slowly nodded...she thought this was crazy but....they did have proof... "Ok...."Clementine spoke looking at them "....I'll tell you my story....."
