Lilith..

"Why? Why? Why? Why? WHY?" I shout as I enter my apartment.

When I don't hear the TV on and no flamboyant red-obsessed tranny is throwing himself at me, I know it's safe to continue into my flat.

I hear a loud meow as I walk into my bedroom. The fluffy white cat runs up to me, his red bow collar's bell ringing as he rubbed my legs, happy I'm home. I scoop him into my arms and fall back on my bed, "Killer. I've had a catastrophic day." I groan loudly, "It really sucked." He meows a small response.

"I mean really! This demon is telling me that I'm his soulmate, but I'm not a demon. Demons are only attracted to other demons." I cry loudly. A longer meow answers me this time.

"It doesn't make any sense. Maybe he's just playing a sick joke on me.. and his master," I spit that word out like its poison, "wants me to do his dirty work!"

Another meow.

"I mean, don't demon's soulmates have to be demons, too? He's got to be bluffing." I repeat myself, finishing my small rant. I'm expecting another meow, but I see the fluffy cat asleep on my stomach.

This encourages me to take a small cat nap too.

"Lilith? Lilith dear, wake up."

I open my navy eyes to find a woman looking down at me, her familiar silver hair cascading around her face as her matching dark blue eyes peer into mine lovingly.

"Who are you?" I whisper.

She gives me a closed eye smile that reminds me of my creepy admirer, almost making me cringe, but I hold back the urge. "My name is Adalayna. I know you my dear, but you do not know me."

"How do you know me?"

"Lilith, I have come to tell you something important." Her tone comes off as a little worried.

"What is it?" My now concerned voice asks the mystery woman.

"You are not who you seem.

While you feel you are you,

You are also not you.

Thats why navy eyes shine brighter than green."

"What are you talking about?" I say suddenly.

"All in good time, my love." She kisses me lightly on the forehead and pulls away from me.

I go to reach for her hand wanting to feel her comforting touch, but time slows and I feel like I'm moving through tar; my limbs barely moving as the room around me blurs and colors start blending together creating a smoke effect.

Through the blur I see the woman walking hand in hand with another person, from the size and posture it looks like a man. The man's hair is a salt and pepper blonde like mine and he holds the silver headed woman's hand.

"What?" I stare confused, not able to comprehend what's happening.

The man turns to the woman and I think I see a smile, but my discovery is cut short. The man is thrown away from the woman by an unknown force. The silverette goes to help the man, but is stopped by her head rolling clean off her shoulders; a pure white scythe had sliced away the body part.

"NO!" I cry out. What's happening?

The soft blonde haired man lunges at the figure holding the scythe, but is twisted up like a pretzel in mid air; snapping his neck. His contorted, lifeless body falls down next to beautiful woman he just moments ago held hands with.
