(Daria's POV)
I watched as the scenery passed by our car window. Me and one of my best friends, Jena were going to Cornelius to visit my grandparents. To bad Trina isn't here. Then it would be perfect. Trina is my big cousin, also my best friend. Out of all our cousins we are the only girls and we are the closest. I remember when we lived together and we shared a room. We tell each other everything and always have each others back. She was the best big cousin I could have gotten. I was ripped from my thinking when Jena started shaking my shoulder.
"WE ARE IN CORNELIUS!!!" She yelled excitedly.
(Jena's Pov)
WOOOOOHOOO! Sleepover in Daria's hometown! Party! This will be awesome! Directioners always have the most fun!We are spending the night at her grandpa's house. That's where she grew up with her big cousin Trina. They have this Awesome, Tricked out directioner room that just sounds AMAZAYN! I am jumping with anticipation. I see the sign to their hometown.
"Welcome to Cornelius!" Daria Squeals. I know how much this little town in Oregon means to her and Trina, and I see why. It's beautiful here! The ground starts shaking all of a sudden. What's happening?! A flash of light puts everything out of sight as I feel something throw me against the seat. Next thing I know, Everything goes black.
-A couple hours later-
I wake up to find myself in the car. The car is flipped on it's side though. I look out to see Daria crying on the ground next to.. A BODY?! I quickly unbuckle myself and climb out.
"Grandpa get up.. please" Daria sobs with desperation in her voice, as she pushes her grandpa's lifeless body.
"Daria... I think hes gone. I-I'm sorry.." I say, kneeling down and giving her a tight hug.
" NO HE ISN'T! HE CAN'T BE! HE'S JUST SLEEPING! HE'LL BE FINE! RIGHT?!" Daria screams, struggling to go back and hug her grandpa. I don't let go as tears stream down my face.
" I'm sorry Daria but he's gone. There isn't anything we can do." I say softly. She starts crying harder, and curls up in a ball sobbing. I dont know how long it will take but I'm gonna make her feel better.
