Shadowed Hearts: Peter Pan x Reader

The Boy

    As I fall, I open my eyes to look up at the night sky. It's beautiful, full of bright, twinkling stars that contrast against the black around them. In the mere seconds I'm falling, I wonder how many there are. I try to count them, but my mind isn't working fast enough for that. Then, I see the two biggest stars in the sky, shining brighter than the rest. The one on the right twinkling even more than the left. I don't linger on them for long. My mind is racing at speeds I didn't think possible. Then suddenly, I jerk to a halt. The impact hurts slightly....a lot less than I assumed it would. After a second, I realize I'm not dead, due to my heavy breathing and shaking body.

    I look over to see...a boy, holding me. I'm confused. I don't know who he is or why he saved me...or how he saved me. I try to speak, but my mind can't find words, so it comes out in a stutter. Then, I look down, and notice that we're....floating...high above the ground. My eyes go wide as my mind tries to process this, but can't understand what's going on. Just then, the brown haired boy speaks.

    "Are you okay?" he asks me, his eyes filled with an innocence I haven't seen before. 

    "Y-yeah..." I reply, still stunned.

    He smiles a charming smile and says, "Good. I was worried I wouldn't catch you in time."

    I glare at him. "Did I ask you to catch me?"

    He looks at me with a look of confusion and hurt, then states timidly, "Uh....n-no...I just thought....you needed help...."

    "Well, I didn't. Now put me down so I can try again. Without you stepping in to 'save the day'."

    For a second, he pauses. He looks like he's going to do it, but then his face hardens as he realizes what's going on. "N-no..." he says "You were trying to kill yourself!" 

    "Yeah, smart one. And now I'm gonna try again. Once you put me down."

    He smirks slightly and replies "Nope. Not happening. I'll take you somewhere. Somewhere you won't want to try...ever again."

    I look at him, baffled, before asking "Wh...where?"

   He chuckles, grinning, and says "To Neverland."

So, I'm really sorry this chapter and the last were super short, and my updates are extremely slow, but I can't get on here that often, and when I can, I have a limited amount of time ^.^ I hope you're enjoying it so far. I'll try to update more, and faster. Anyways, I am open to any suggestions for the plot, and even characters. :3 Thanks for reading, and please vote!~ <3<3
