"Kylie? Kylie! Wake up!" I feel a pair of hands shaking me. I put my hand up but the shaking doesn't stop. A wave of frustration goes over me.

"Ughhhh, WHAT?!" I quickly sit up and snap my neck over and see Jai sitting next to me in the bed, his eyes big and wide. I must've startled him.

"Oh...I'm sorry. I didn't know it was you." I say with an apologetic smile on my face.

"N-No it's fine." He does a small shrug. I bite my lip when I remember how Aureun has been treating him and it's not a good time to be yelling at him.

"No. It's not. I'm really sorry for yelling. But you know how I can be in the mornings..." I trail of as I yawn and run a hand through my hair.

"How can you still be so beautiful when you wake up in the morning?"

"What was that?" I ask Jai because I didn't quite hear what he mumbled due to my loud yawning.

"N-Nothing." Jai awkwardly clears his throat. What did he say that's making him blush like this?

"Okayyyy..." I shrug my shoulders and stretch my legs. "So why did you wake me up this early?"

"No reason. Let's go downstairs...I'm starving." Jai's words drag out as he pulls me off of the bed with him. I stop and look up at him. "You're telling me it's the middle of the afternoon and you haven't eaten yet?"

"Yup." As soon as Jai doesn't make eye contact with me I know something's going on.

"Then what have you been doing all this time?" I furrow my eyebrows at him.

"Uh, sleeping, duh." His lips go into a slight frown which lets me know that he's not telling the truth.

"Hmmm... so why are you dressed?" I don't understand why he won't tell me what's going on.

"Ahh, stop asking so many questions! Just come make me food!" Jai ignores my question and pulls me out of my room. The boy practically drags me down the stairs. I whine his name on the way down, begging him to tell me what's going on so I can go back to bed.

When we get down the stairs, all of the lights are off and the blinds on the windows are shut.

"Why is it so dark in her-"

"SUPRISE!!!!!!" A bunch of loud voices erupt in front of me. I scream as jump into Jai's arms. "WHAT THE FU-"

Before I could finish my sentence the light turns on and I see a bunch of familiar faces. Standing there, with big smiles and presents in their hands. Its Karen, Taemin, Mariana, and Sara. I immediately know what's going on. The 'party planning committee' is now back in order and that means more stress, more getting annoyed, and more trying to wiggle out of random, life taking birthday hugs.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY! KYLIMNIDA!!" I look at Taemin who's holding a balloon and a bear in his hands. His smile is almost as cute as the stuffed animal. His soft eyes began to trail down my body and I start to feel embarrassed. Jai didn't tell me we were having visitors and I'm only wearing a pair of shorts and one of his shirts. But I should've known, knowing my set of friends and how they always go over the top on my birthday.

"I'll tell you happy birthday when you make yourself decent." Karen tries to fix my hair with the hand that doesn't have a dozen of chocolates in it.
