Chapter Eight
A New Life

Bella's POV

I woke up the next morning, remembering what happened.

"I need to apologize"I thought.

I ran to Carlos' dorm to see him with Jane cuddling and sleeping soundly in his bed. Tears streamed down my face. I quickly wiped them away.

"I gotta be strong" I thought.

I walked over and shook Carlos.

I have been practicing my magic so I can cast spells without talking but only basic spells now.

I put my finger on the right side of my neck and said "Carlos, you need to get up" in Mal's voice.

He woke up to see me.

"You're not Mal!"

"I need to talk to you"

"Save it! You're just a fake, I can't believe you did that to Jane"

"How is she here?"

"True love's kiss"

"Oh" I said weakly "So what, she's your girlfriend now?"

"Yes, now I suggest you leave"

"Fine"

I left and went to the cafeteria for breakfast. People were staring at me, even my "friends" at the table. They scowled and continued talking. I walked up to them.

"Oh here the demon comes now" I hear Mal say.

"Hey guys, can I talk to you?"

"Why would we talk to you after what you did with Jane" Evie said.

"Look, I'm really sorry-"

"Sorry doesn't cut it and neither do you so I suggest that you leave before something happens" Mal said.

"Fine, I'll leave you alone"

Tears streamed down my face as I walked over to a table behind them. I wiped my tears for what seemed like the second time.

I snapped my fingers and a purple dress with pink and blue combat boots came on me.

Jake walked over to my table.

"Hey"

"Hey, you ok?"

"Does it look like I'm okay?!"

"I'm just trying to help!"

"Sorry"

"I get it"

"I gotta go. See ya"

The day went by in a blur. Carlos and the others were still angry at me.

I went to my dorm room and cried.

"I don't belong here"

I made notes for Mal, Evie, Jay, Ben and finally Carlos. They might still be mad at me but I still want them to know I still care about them.

"Goodbye" I said, a tear falling onto Carlos' letter.

I laid them on the bed. Someone will find them. I snapped my fingers and changed into a purple shirt with blue jeans, a purple leather jacket with a dark pink and blue combat boots and blonde hair at the bottom.

I walked out of school with people staring.

"Goodbye Auradon, I'm gonna miss you" I said to the people watching.

I twisted my wrist in a kind of casting motion and I teleported to Los Angeles, my new home.
