Chapter Four
The Date
I rushed to Ben's dorm to tell him the news but he wasn't there. I checked the VKs room and Evie said that he was on a date with Mal at the Enchanted Lake. I respect Mal and my brother likes her.
"Hey, can you help me? I'm going on a date and I absolutely don't know what to wear"
"Sure but with who?"
"Carlos"
"Oh My Fairy Godmother! We have to get you ready ASAP"
She handed me a purple dress and light blue adidas because I told her those were my favorite colors. I went into the bathroom and quickly put it on. I came back out to see her with a whole bunch of makeup. After about 30 minutes we finished with time to spare.
I heard a knock on the door. Evie opened it to reveal Carlos in a red and black shirt underneath a red, black and white suit.
"Wow you look really beautiful."
"Thanks. You look really good too"
"Shall we?"
"We shall"
~Skip~
We arrived at a beautiful waterfall and had a picnic. It was a little further away from the Enchanted Lake.
"So how was life like on the Isle?" I asked randomly.
"It was horrible" He said while tearing up. "My mother always made me wash her car, clean after her and fluff her coattails and she didn't even love me."
"Oh my, that is horrible, I'm so sorry that my dad locked you up on that horrible place"
"It's ok, I found you, that's what matters"
He leaned in closer and I felt my heart pounding. I closed in the gap and I felt sparks, no fireworks. We finally pulled away after some time. We enjoyed eating especially Carlos since his face was covered in chocolate. We finally went back to my dorm. Even though I'm the King's daughter, Ben and I asked Dad if we could stay in dorms but we have no roommate and our rooms are right next to each other.
I decided to let Carlos sleep over in my dorm since our date wasn't over. We watched an action movie for Carlos and a romance movie for me but we got tired during the movie so Carlos slept on the floor. What did you think I would say? We aren't that far yet.
