Antis perspective~
What on earth is Dark doing?
As I stare from the other side of the bush, I could feel chills go up my spine. Is Dark... seducing the human? I couldn't help but feel my heart sink and break in two. I left my food, and ran home. I tried to hold back my tears, but I couldn't. I was sprinting and glitching with every stomp to the ground. Why would he have wanted me to watch? How is he not in trouble for that? I ran into the house, sprang into bed, and let Jack take over.
Dark's perspective~
By now, I've looked everywhere in the forest, panicking.
"Anti?! Anti, where are you?!" I yell into practically nothing. I eventually give up, and walk home. I needed to cry, but I didn't, I wouldn't let myself. I walked in the door, feeling the warm air touch my skin made me calm down. I open the bedroom door, to see Jack... laying down. A depressed feeling took over me, as I lay on the other end of the bed and let Mark take over. I was afraid to get close to Jack.
Antis perspective~
I wish Dark layed closer to Jack... why didn't he..? Does he even love me... anymore?
*time skip, next day 12/14/17*
Jack's perspective~
I woke up before Mark for once today. He was on the other side of the bed though... like with his feet at the pillows.
"Probably Dark climbing back to bed at night." I whispered slightly. I decide to get up and light a few Christmas candles. Since I'm not the cook in the house, I decide to just eat cereal instead. Since it's kind of a tradition, I decide to put on a song. I scrolled through my songs.
"Hmmm, stereo love? Nah too early.
Half light? Nah, too sad.
Pacify her? Nah, too evil.
Aha! Oh, Miss Believer, perfect!" As the slow, wintery song plays, a sleepy Mark strolls down the steps.
"Morning baby." I say.
"Morning sweet potato." Mark said back. I chuckle slightly.
"Was that a joke about my irishness?" I ask.
"Mmaaaaaaaybe." Mark said.
"Okay, you're gonna get it now!" I say, running over to him and starting to tickle him.
"Hahahahaha! Stop! Hahah!" Mark said, laughing uncontrollably.
"What's the magic word?" I ask.
"Hehehahah! Please! Hehehe!" He managed to say between breaths.
"Okay, since you asked politely." I say, teasing him. He looks at me with joking envy. I crack a warm smile.
"So, what are we doing today?" Mark asked.
"Well, if you ask me... today is a Netflix and chill kinda day except... a less provocative chill part." I said. Mark laughed under his breath.
"Of course." He said. I shoved him play fully, and we both gathered blankets and materials for a fire. Once the couch was all set up and the fire was started, we snuggled on the couch and watched Nightmare Before Christmas™ on Netflix. It wasn't long before Something was going on with Mark. I just focused on the movie, knowing it was probably Dark speaking to him.
Marks perspective~
I was enjoying the movie with Jack in my arms, when I started hearing from Dark.
"Quite a nice movie."
"Sure, it is. Hey, haven't heard from you in a bit.."
"There was.. uh... stuff... going on."
"Okay... care to tell me?"
"Can't, sorry.."
"It's okay... what made you want to talk to me all the sudden?"
"I was just wondering if maybe I could... take over for a few moments to enjoy the movie.."
"Oh.. uhm... let me talk to Jack first."
"Okay.."
I nudge Jack a little, seeing as he's very sucked into the movie.
"Yeah Mark?" He asks me.
"Uhh... I was wondering if it'd be okay with you for Dark to come out for a little bit..." I asked him.
"Sure, I don't really mind.." he replied.
"Okay just... a few ground rules. Don't speak to him as much as possible, don't look into his eyes, and don't touch him.. it's for your safety, and as for Dark, he better listen to those rules too." I say.
"Got it..." Jack said. I closed my eyes and allowed Dark to take over. Dear god I hope he listened to me.
Jack's perspective~
Mark is Dark now. I can feel the presence or a cold, shady figure next to me. I make sure to keep my focus on the movie, and sit back.
"I know Mark doesn't want me to talk to you but.. you need to know something about Anti." Dark said to me. I tensed up, ignoring him. He moved closer to me, looking at me.
"And I know he doesn't want you to look or speak to me so.. I'll make it quick. Anti isn't doing too well.. and something happened last night. I'm afraid he won't go out to hunt tonight. And it's not good because.. he's thinning out. And you know, demons can die too. And in this case, he dies you die. You really should talk to him." He said, sounding concerned. I started to talk when I turned to see Mark in his place.
"Ugh..."
