Jacob:so do u wanna go to get ice cream with me?

Me:yes of course Jacob

Jacobs cheeks got reder than usual. He smiles at me and takes my hand and we start walking to a ice cream shop that was close bye.

Cashier:hello my name is Mandy what can I get you?

Me:umm I'll have the blueberry cheesecake ice cream please.

Jacob:I'll have the chocolate one.

When we got our ice cream I was taking out my money to pay but jacob moves my hand and pays for it.

Me:why did u do that I could of payed for myself

Jacob:nope I invited you here so it would be right if I pay

I just smile at how cute he looks when he smiles it makes it even cuter that he has braces.

We walk to a bench and talk and eat our ice cream.

Me:you wanna come to my house for a bit?

Jacob:ummm I don't know my parents would be really mad he says in a worried voice and with a scared look on his face.

Me:um okay

Jacob:so where do u live.

Me:I thought you didn't want to come

Jacob:well...only for a little bit okay he says smiling

I smile back cause he looks so adorable with braces.

Me:well I live on 1016 cherubs ave (made up lol)

Jacob: really i live right next to you.

Me:really omg.

We started walking a bit faster to my house

When we got there my mom wasn't home.

We went up to my room
We talked and his cheeks looked reder than usual.

After a while Jacob looks pale and says Omg y/n I got to go before my parents get mad at me!

Me:oh okay bye I said as I gave him a hug

He let's go  and leaves.

I decide that I should change into my pajamas I start gathering my stuff to take a shower until I hear noises coming from Jacobs house so I look through my window and see his dad slapping him.

Then I see his mom say:that's what you get for going out without our permission. Oh my god your such a mistake!! They then leave and Jacob is on his bed crying

At this point I'm crying too.

I quickly take a shower and put on my clothes and get in to my bed.

I also get my phone.

MESSAGES

Me:Jacob?

Jacob❤️🌹:yea what's up Y/N😊

Me:are you okay I heard screaming from your house?

Jacob❤️🌹:oh umm everything is fine nothing happened,no need to worry my parents we just arguing.😁

Me:oh okay well goodnight I'll see you tomorrow k❤️🌹

Jacob❤️🌹:ok bye👀😍❤️

Wow I can't believe he lied for his parents

-NEXT DAY

I got to school and went to find Jacob

Me:Jacob!

Jacob:oh hey Y/N

Can I talk to you at lunch please by the tree.

Jacob:yea of course he says as he walks away

-Lunch

I met Jacob at the tree I saw he was already there.

Jacob:so what did you want to talk about?

Me:well I saw what your parents did to you last night and that's abuse Jacob you have to tell the police.

His smile turns into a frown and his eyes start to tear up.

Jacob: I can't tell the police they said if I did they would kill me.

Me:Jacob please I saw how bad you looked,don't you know anyone that can adopt you?

Jacob:well there is my aunt.

Me:okay then come on let's go to the cops now

Jacob:but we're at school!

I didn't answer him I just took his hand and we ran as fast as we could to the police station.

Me:hi umm my Friends parents are abusing him and they said if he were to go to the police they would kill him.

The officers took care of everything and Jacobs parents got put in jail for life and Jacob lived with his aunt and a few weeks later Jacob got his braces off. And on the same day he asked me to be his girlfriend and I said yes.
