James Potter:
I walked down the halls and spotted Lily talking to her friends. Okay, you got this James, be confident and don't be arrogant just act politely to be your date and said nicely. You got this. I said to myself and walk towards Lily. Here goes nothing.

Lily Evans:
I was talking to Alice and Cassie and suddenly someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and found James looking nervous and a bit of confidence in his face. "Oh...um....hey James, what's up?" I asked. He put his hands through his messy hair but stopped and talk "Hi Lily, I just wanna ask you something not just going out with me but....will...y-you....b-be....m-my.... date for the Yule ball?" He said stammering. "If you don't want to I cou-" but I cut him off "I would love to James." He smiled and sigh in relief and jogged in the hall to find his friends. Alice looked at me while Cassie stared at me looking stunned "What?" I asked. They perked up to life until Cassie broke the silence "Lils, I thought you will say no to him." Cassie said with a confused look in her face. "She's right you know, we've never heard that you will agree to be his date for the Yule ball." Alice said. "But guys! Don't you see? James must be matured now. I guess I must give him a chance can I?" I said. They hesitated and agreed my words and we headed back to our dormitories to get dressed for the Yule Ball today.
