The Wolf and Her Mate

Birthday Part 2

After I showered I put on a navy blue shirt with black leggings and navy blue Nikes. Jax knows I love the woods so I'm guessing thats where he's taking me. He doesn't know my biggest secret and I always feel bad for not telling him. Even if we do click in a special way we still never talk about it.

Flashback to when they first met
"Mommy why can't I just be homeschooled alot if people do it" says Kassia. Her mom says "Hun you need to be associated with kids your age". Kassia pouts but nods.

She walks onto her new school bus and sits in the back where most people don't sit. She stares out the window watching the scenery pass by quickly. She feels a warmth next to her and looks quickly at it. She comes face to face with peircing blue eyes that she gets lost in. The eyes pull away slowly and reveal and dorky looking boy that looks about her age.

He holds out his hand and says "Hello. I'm Jackson but you can call me Jax". She grabs his hand and shakes it "I'm Kassia. You can call me Kass". They both smile.
End of flashback

"Kass hurry up we need to leave" Jax says as I puts on my necklace. "Yeah whatever shut your cake hole I'm coming". I close the bathroom door and am immediately turned and pinned against it. "What did you say about me shutting my cake hole?" I squirms and say, "Nothing. Now let me go."

After we get in the car Jax blindfolds me and puts something in his trucks trunk. After what seemed like hours we pulled into a random place I didn't recognize by the smell. He helps me out of the car and takes off the blindfold. It takes me a minute while my eyes adjust to the brightness but I see a beautiful clearing surrounded by trees. Jax grabs something out of his trunk while I look around.

He sets down a soft blanket and sets down a basket. I lay on my back on the blanket and look at the sky. "You like" he asks me. "I love" he laughs and lays next to me.

After a few hours of talking, laughing, and eating we lay facing each other. "Kass I might be gone for a couple of weeks after tonight". I sit up confused "Why is everything okay?" I ask. "Yes I just have a family member not doing so well and I have to go visit him" he says. "Alright but come visit me before you leave." He nods and lays back down with me next to him.

A few hours later after Jax took me home I got a call. "Kass it's me open the window and climb out." The caller hangs up but I knew who it was. I climb out and land on my feet. I'm pinned against the tree by someone with golden glowing eyes. "Hello Kass" he says. "Jax" I question and the figure lets me go and runs off. I start to chase after him but he is already long gone.

Hey guys and girls this chapter was hopefully longer then the other ones. I messed up in one of the first chapters saying that Jackson and Kassia are the same age but he is actually almost 19 and she has just turned 18 in this chapter. Also the reason Kassia shifted at 13 will be explained in a future chapter. Thanks to everyone who has voted and commented.
