what I want

When Luke was fifteen, he was asked what he wanted in a relationship. Luke thought about it for a minute. "I just want who won't get annoyed when I text them six times or in all caps. Someone I can go on long drives with and can sing along to the radio with. Someone I can eat pizza with at 2am, and kiss at 6pm. Someone who chooses me everyday and never thinks twice about it"

Luke was now seventeen, he had long forgotten what he said he wanted.

Luke: Michael

Luke: Michaaaael?

Luke: Mikeyyyy?

Luke: MIKEYYYY

Luke was spamming his best friend Michael with messages. They were supposed to hangout, and Michael should of been ready by now.

Luke: MICHAEL YOU TAKE SO BLOODY LONG ALL THE TIME HURRY UP

Luke: THAT WAS HARSH I'M SORRY

Luke: WHY AM I SORRY? YOU'RE THE ONE WHO'S LATE

Luke: 'm acting like a dick, aren't I?I

Luke sat around waiting for his mate to respond.

Michael: yes you are a dick, but it's okay.. cause you're cute :) and i'm on my way now!

Luke smiled, Michael really was a good friend and Luke couldn't of asked for a better best friend. They'd been going to the same school for awhile now but only started talking last year, they instantly clicked.They just understood each other, and Luke really liked him. A lot.

The more time Luke and Michael spent time together, the more Luke realized how much he actually liked Michael. Really liked him. They would go on long car rides, to no where. Michael would drive of course, considering that Luke didn't have his license yet. They'd listen to the radio, on full blast and sing along. It was silly, and fun and Luke loved it. He loved how he could be himself with Michael, and he didn't have to pretend to be something he wasn't.

"that's what I like about you" they both sang in unison. "what I like about you, you really know how to dance" Michael sang and winked at Luke. Luke felt his heart flutter.

"when you go up, down, jump around, think about true romance" Luke sang. They both ended up in giggles when the song was over, and Luke loved days like this.

A few days later Luke was over at Michael's place, Michael's parents were out visiting friends for a few days so they had the place to themselves. "I really want pizza, do you?" Michael asked out of no where.

"it's like you read my mind" Luke joked.

Michael chuckled and called the pizza place. After the pizza had finally arrived, they sat on the couch eating while watching a movie that they didn't know the name of. Without even realizing  it, they were cuddled up together underneath the blanket. Michael was playing with Luke's hands, and Luke could feel his heart pounding.

"luke, what's wrong? you seem nervous? are you alright?" Michael asked, with a concerned look on his face.

"yeah" Luke said quickly.

"are you sure? something seems off with you, are you sure you don't wanna talk about it?" Michael asked him.

"I'm fine Michael, I swear" Luke told him. The rest of the night they watched movies, but didn't really pay attention. They were too busy thinking about how nice it was to be this close to one another.

Two days after that, Luke and Michael were at Luke's house. They were sitting on his bed, deciding what they should do that day. "you can pick, you have better ideas then me" Luke told him, and laid down on his bed.

"I don't have any ideas" Michael said and laid beside him, knocking luke's legs with his.

Luke rolled his eyes fondly. "Michael pick something, I'm bored" Luke told him, pouting.

"then let's do something fun" Michael said with a smirk.

"like?" Luke asked.

"like this" Michael said, and sat up. He sat on top of Luke, one leg on each side of Luke and leaned down. He pressed his lips against Luke's. At first Luke didn't know how to react but seconds later he was moving his lips too. The kiss started off slow, and before it got too heated Michael pulled away.

"was that fun?" Michael asked with a smirk.

"i'm not sure, let's do it again and I'll know" Luke said and sat up a little before kissing Michael again.

A/n: i don't know how this happened but i got the first part from a quote and i thought it was cute and yeah. sorry for not updating in a while, i've been sick this weekend and I didn't feel like typing this all out. but i'm working on a new muke fanfic!
