Getting Rid Of Pimples! #2
Pimples, who likes the suckers? Not me, so lets get rid of them!
~Aspirin Mask
The main purpose of Aspirin is to reduce swelling and size of the skin so by creating a paste and applying it to your pimple, the size and swelling will drop down rapidly. Take two aspirin tablets and grind them up into a powder-like substance. Them apply a small amount of water and mix until you have created a formula like a paste. Apply to the pimple and leave for as long as possible before rinsing off with cold water.
~Baking Soda Mask
Baking soda is excellent for cleaning surfaces, so why not use it to clean up your pimples? Mix a small amount of baking soda with enough water to form a thick, gloopy paste, and gently dab it onto your pimple using either a clean finger or a q-tip. Let it sit on the pimple for 15-20 minutes or until it has completely dried, and then rinse it off with cool water. You can repeat this several times a day until you've gotten the desired pimple-diminishing effect.
~The Garlic Method
Garlic doesn't really sound like the thing you'd use to get rid of a pimple but it actually is for two reasons: Garlic is a great natural antiseptic so it is good at cleaning out the pimple and removing bacteria, and it contains high levels of Sulfur (Sulfur is great for dying up oils, meaning that it will dry up the oil inside and around your pimple!) Either mince a clove of garlic to form a paste, or cut a clove of garlic in half and hold it to your pimple. Leave the garlic on for 5-10 minutes, and then rinse off with cool water.
~The Lemon Juice Method
Lemon juice has been used for centuries for its bleaching and cleaning properties, and can be put to the same use on your face. Cut a fresh lemon in half, and rub a q-tip over it to pick up the fresh juice. Dab this onto your pimple and allow it to dry, repeating the application every few hours if necessary. Be sure to use fresh lemon rather than bottled lemon juice, as the substance often contains other unnecessary things that are unhealthy for your skin.
~Tea Tree Oil Method
Tea tree oil is used in many beauty products for its skin-soothing qualities and ability to naturally kill bacteria. Purchase a bottle of pure tea tree oil,and use a cotton q-tip to apply a bit of it on your pimple. Do this only once a day, and repeat until your pimple has completely disappeared. Be careful though, as adding too much tea tree oil can actually have the opposite effect and cause pimples to break out even more.
