Walking through the woods the two figures were quiet. They wanted to see if they are being followed. But until now no one did. So they got a lot more comfortable.
"What do you think?" One of them piped up. The other slightly shorter girl rolled her eyes.
"You know stalking your little thoughts!" Was the answer. It made the older roll her eyes.
"Ugh, why was it mind for you?!" She asked, then looked at the younger, who smirked.
"Huh, so I can annoy you guys, simple as that. Also because my mind was the only one who cannot be attacked." She said snipping her fingers infront to the others face.
"Ugh, stupid... But what about Dami?" The older remembered.
"Oh, well, she can't get attacked. Because her mind is already being closed off. You could say she is narrow minded... Ok I am sorry it was horrible, don't mind it. She can't get attacked though, she sees things, it's not like she can read minds. Just a vague memory of the future, past or the tense. Gosh, how many years has it been and you still have no clue how to tell mine and Dami's powers apart, Jiu?!" She asked, making Jiu roll her eyes.
"Ok, maybe... Uhm... I don't know it's been too long I stopped counting years after the hundredth and that was uhm a few hundred years ago, Gahyeon!" Jiu said looking at the younger, who rolled her eyes.
"Also Dami is not narrow minded, I will tell her and you will be in deep..." Gahyeon had a hand over Jiu's mouth who now just let out muffled sounds while speaking. Well, until Jiu stuck her tongue out and licked the inside of Gahyeon's hand.
"Ewww, Jiu, no that's uncool. What are you five?" Gahyeon asked offended with what her older just did.
"No I am not, I am most likely.... Uhm... Well I know what age I was when I stopped aging. Not how old I am now..." Jiu's voice wavered with uncertainty and she stopped speaking often during it.
"See you are five!" Gahyeon held her forehead since Jiu flicked her there. Smirking seeing the younger pout.
"Serves you right, evil maknae!" Rolling her eyes Gahyeon walked silently next to Jiu. Until they reached it.
The cabin in the woods. Made out of wood.
"Isn't it ironic?" Gahyeon started. "A cabin in the woods, made out of woods?" Jiu looked at her shaking her head, they entered. Wondering, why the door was slightly open.
"Was someone here?" Gahyeon wondered out loud. Jiu shaking her head, looking at everything. Feeling the calling of her book, but ignored it and looked at everything in the house.
Once she finished, looking if everything was alright and everything was still in place, not seeing anything out of place, she walked over to her book. Stroking the page that was left open.
A green glow encasing her. A soft groan escaped her lips. She waited long for this. Over 80 years.
Once she was done, she heard the screaming and rustling as clear as day. Looking out the window, listening intently. Watching her natural brown eyes become green.
Meanwhile Gahyeon stood infront of her own book, it was a great thing. Finally to be here again. Touching the book she was encased in a violet glow.
Once it was gone the usual voices filled her head, but more and louder than before. Clearer, if she was to describe how it sounded before, she would tell you this.
"It is like a phone call with bad connection, you hear the voice from time to time, but it is broken and staticy most of the time."
Looking over to Jiu she saw the downcast look on her elder. Knowing exactly what is wrong she walked over, putting a hand on Jiu's shoulder.
