JaeJin and YeoJin sat infront of each other. They had to talk a lot, about many things. They were in their room, telling their parents they would do homework.
"YeoJin, what do you think?" JaeJin asked, knowing well that his sister would roll her eyes.
"I don't know to be honest, it's shit that people do this..." YeoJin trailed off, looking at her brother who shook his head.
"I don't think it is a person or more people, if it were people, then they would have used poison or a weapon." JaeJin had a look of discomfort. YeoJin nodded her head.
"Yes you are right, also the animal scratch marks." She further elaborated her brothers thoughts. Who clapped his hands in excitement.
"Exactly, a human couldn't do that. Also the girls?" JaeJin asked looking to the ground. YeoJin though tapped her brothers hair.
"I think I have seen them somewhere before, I don't know why though. It's weird." YeoJin said, her brother slowly nodded.
"I see. And you see the Siyeon, she was the one who found the pocket watch. When I saw her, her eye colour changed to a firey red." JaeJin told his sister, whose eyes became wider than the ocean. She gasped at the revelation of her brother.
"You mean... Oh my, that is really a weird happening, but how could it happen?" YeoJin was clearly overwhelmed, this was something she did not expect.
"Did you hear some students talk about the girls are being vampires cause I did!" JaeJin said to his sister, making her roll her eyes.
"You know how I don't care about gossip, Mrs Jung most likely started!" YeoJin said with a sigh and her brother cracked a smile.
"But think about it, the eye colour changing. Oh and this one girl, uhm Bora I think, had this weird necklace. I have never seen it before." JaeJin said while standing up and getting a pen and a paper. He drew the necklace on it, making YeoJin look at it.
"This isn't something a vampire would have, it's probably more for witches. But I have seen this briefly somewhere around here before. It's something we did as children... I think... I can't quite recall." YeoJin said trying to remember with her hand against her temple. Until she slowly shook her head.
"It's ok, I was just trying to figure this whole mess out. As you see there are so many things that need to be taken into consideration an-" JaeJin was cut off by his sister who was rather loudly.
"I remembered! Remember the wooden cabin?" YeoJin asked, her brother had a look of disbelieve on his face. What has the wooden cabin to do with anything?
"Uhm yeah but why-" Again he was being cut of.
"There were these weird books and the picture? Do you remember it? Because I faintly do and I think it were those girls! So it's not that far out of reach for them to be vampires, but then again I don't think vampire have those books..." JaeJin held a hand over his sisters mouth only to shut her rambling up.
"Stop, I understand now, very well must I say!" He said slightly annoyed by his sister, nonetheless he smirked.
"We should be getting to the ground of this then my dear sister!" JaeJin told his sister, removing the hand, only to reveal a mirroring smirk on his sisters face.
"I like the way you think JaeJin, exactly like I do!" YeoJin said, with a strange voice, making her brother laugh.
"I am your twin, believe me I know the way you think and you know the way I think!" They raised their hands and high fived each other, they just had to find that cabin again. So they went out, walking to the forest near their grandpa's house.
They walked through the forest in silence. They needed to get to where they were when they were children, but remembering it was hard for them at the age of 22. It was long ago, so the memory isn't clear as day.
They walked in silence. Next to each other, not knowing what they should talk about. Until they actually found the cabin, but there were the seven girls already walking in.
One glance between the twins was enough for them to know what the other was thinking. They always had this connection, even if they didn't talk they knew what to do and what to say.
Since they came here to inspect again and saw the girls, they were sure not to investigate and just turn back around. They at least knew the cabin was linked to the girls.
Walking back to their home it was getting dark. Until it was so dark that the two had to take out their flashlights, the thing was they didn't even see a thing with the flashlights.
"JaeJin?" YeoJin called into the dark, but got no answer which she normally would get from her brother. So she tried to find him, but since it was dark she couldn't.
She was out of breath when she heard a screech, it wasn't human or from an animal. So she wasn't sure what to think of that screech.
She waited until there was nothing again. She tried again to call for her brother, but it was no use. She couldn't find him. Until she sat down on the ground. Frustration taking over her.
"Why is there no one and where the hell am I, here is nothing but blackness! Also I am talking to myself." She let out a scream of frustration, throwing her fists to the ground.
She heard a whisper behind her, no not behind her but all around her. She was getting scared, really scared. The whispering didn't stop it just got more. Shivers were running up and down her spine. Crawling like a spider would over a tree.
YeoJin let out a breathy sigh, when suddenly there was a bright light. Squeezing her eyes shut and shielding her eyes, she tried to adjust to the sudden light. In Front of her was a thing.
There was no other word to explain it. The creature was unrecognizable, it looked burned in a way, but had white shafts were the eyes should be. Claws were it's hand. It reached out to YeoJin, who quickly stood up and ran the other way.
Her breathing got ragged, but she was running, her fight or flight mode, being on flight. The running did nothing though. She felt the claws grab her, spinning her around.
She got a feeling as if someone squeezed her lungs, so she couldn't breath anymore properly. She was about to blackout. Was this the last thing she will ever see? Was the only question in her head.
