JaeJin woke up with a groan. Looking over to the other side of the room he saw his sister still asleep, he has no clue how his sister can sleep so good. Despite every horrible thing this world has to offer. With a shrug he stood up and went to the bathroom.
When he got downstairs he saw his parents intently watching the TV. With an eyebrow raised and an curious attitude he walked up to his parents. Looking over their shoulder he saw the news.
"JaeJin!" His mother gasped, trying to block the view out.
"Mom, did... Did it happen again?" With a defeated sigh his mother nodded and turned away from the TV. JaeJin saw the horrible scenes and the words. It happened again, the way his grandfather was killed.
A gasp escapes his lips, is this some cruel thing. A new way to murder People? A serial killer in their small town?
JaeJin shook his head, no that couldn't be. His parents decided to shut off the TV. Looking at their son they smiled lightly.
"We are sorry, it seems it will be a thing now, we should be careful." His father stated with a arm wrapped around the youngers shoulder.
"Let's not tell your sister, she doesn't have to know!" His mother said, she means well, she doesn't want to see his sister like that again.
As if that was YeoJin's cue she came downstairs. Looking sleepy and not ready at all, her hair sticking up and sleep still in her eyes. All of them looked at her.
"What? Is there something funny on my face?" YeoJin's brother snorted and her parents shook their heads. With a shrug, YeoJin came into the kitchen, to eat her breakfast.
Obviously she took notice of the tension, making her wonder if something happened. Or if she did anything wrong. So she looked at all the people in the room.
"Ok, what is wrong?!" She asked already frustrated since she knew that she wouldn't get an answer.
"Nothing!" JaeJin and their parents shook their heads at the same time.
"I knew this would happen, I will find out eventually!" With that said YeoJin made her way to the bathroom, wanting to get ready. What she didn't knew was, that she was right.
Once they entered college grounds, they saw students whisper to each other. YeoJin got more suspicious by the second and JaeJin more antsy. They attended their classes, YeoJin majoring in social studies and JaeJin in performing arts.
It wasn't until lunch, that anything was uttered to the two of them. A friend of theirs approached their table. Since they have different schedules, they didn't see each other that much. YeoJin smiled up at her.
"JinSoul what's up?" YeoJin asked, making SoonHee raise an eyebrow at her.
"Two things!" JinSoul said holding up two fingers, while sitting down.
"Didn't you hear what happened yesterday?!" JinSoul asked surprised. JaeJin started to tell JinSoul to shut up, with his eyes and a few gestures. She ignored it, not wanting to hide it.
"Oh wow. Ok, there is this boy... Uhm what's his name again? Taemin yes, he was popular here in the town. Everyone at least heard his name once. He died just like your grandfather, blood around him in a pool, but no obvious wounds. Plus they found scratch marks on his wall that look like it is from an animal." YeoJin nodded and JaeJin dropped his head with a defeated sigh.
"So that's what you hid from me this morning..." YeoJin trailed off.
"Yeah, uhm, anyways, then did you hear about those seven girls? Exchange students? They transfered here. So yeah, maybe you will see them!" JinSoul said smiling. JaeJin raised an eyebrow, this was getting interesting.
