----------------------------------------------------

Baekhyun sat by the fireplace, a mug of hot chocolate clutched in his hands. The lyrics from 'All of me' By John Legend slipping past his plump lips and into the pitch black room, only lit up by the sparks dancing in the fire.
His soft tone echoing through the house.
He was lonely; No one was there to accompany him in the darkness he was engulfed by anymore.
Hence because he had moved from society, far away.
Abandoned his family and friends.
It was the only option for him; people said he was something out of the ordinary.
But who could blame him when his ex had cheated several times, beat him and nearly killed him. The psychical and mental abuse was..Unbearable

Baekhyun could remember walking on the silent sidewalk, car tires screeching in the distance. But it being quiet just where he.
It was late, the boy was searching for his significant other. She had been gone for the past ten hours.
Of course he did suspect something, he knew something was up.
But still he tried convincing himself that everything was alright.

He stood there with pale hands stuffed in the pockets of his coat, waiting patiently for his girlfriend to perhaps pass by. He knew that she always took that way home. Not that he had followed her.. he simply just strolled with her to and back from work. Just like he had done when they started dating, They were so in love back then.

But then he saw it, across the street from him, something he had seen far too many times than needed.

Taeyeon was embracing another male, her head nuzzled in the crook of his neck.
They really seemed close.
So loving.
She had stopped doing that to him a while ago.
The cause of it; remaining unknown to him.

Baekhyun's hearts was aching, probably slowly tearing apart while he was barely able to stand.
Legs growing weaker and weaker; wobbling.

Just then, the rain poured down.
In a slow but steady pace soaking him.
He couldn't rip his gaze away from the two.
They were under the roof a cafe; laughing.
He could feel his knees colliding with the wet ground.
Tears stinging in the corner of his eyes, as soon as they ran down his cheeks the salty substance mixed with the rain and fell down onto the rough surface of the sidewalk.
He was done. His reason for happiness and joy was stolen, torn apart and relentlessly thrown away like a used toy.

He was a toy to her.

But that wasn't a surprise, he had always known that.

"The person I loved so dearly, has deserted me.
And now I am weeping, holding my burning heart."
---------

Baekhyun took a deep breath before scrambling up on his numb feet, he couldn't bear with the flashbacks of his past. Shivers vigorously zipping down his spine.
Bringing his limp self towards the kitchen.
He could hear rain splash against the huge windows of his livingroom, displaying an amazing scenery from his current location and the glowing city below his house.
It was a pretty big house after all, despite it being on top of a hill, In the woods and surprisingly hidden enough for outsiders to walk past without noticing it even being there.

The boy ghosted  his fingertips against the screen of his phone, Meghan Trainor's 'Like I'm gonna lose you' just a click away. His thumb discreetly pushing play. The sweet music now uttering from the speakers. Baekhyun shut his eyelids and moved across the Oke wooden floor of his livingroom.
Music was the only escape he had from his cruel reality.

Being alone wasn't that bad after all.. even though he missed talking to people, or, seeing people at that. He had space to dance in, he could sing as loud as he wanted. Wake up whenever. He was free, but the only thing keeping him from flying was his past.

But there was something tingling in his senses, he felt as if he wasn't alone.
Someone was watching him.

Hurriedly the boy turned around, staring out of the windows.
No one was there.
The knowledge of knowing someone was out there, most possibly stalking him, didn't bring him to ease.
Or simply he was paranoid after not meeting fellow humans.

Though, that wasn't the case. Since someone was watching him.
