"The party starts at 4 but black people never on time."
We both laughed and started getting ready.
"Who's taking a shower first?", Meek asked.
"I will, you stay in here with Niya."
I got my clothes together and hopped in the shower. After washing off, I walked out and saw Meek holding a sleeping Niya.
"Aw, she's becoming a daddy's girl."
"She been a daddy's girl."
I rolled my eyes and finished up getting myself together.
"Mommy's hating on our relationship Niya.", Meek whispered.
"Boy bye. Go take your shower."
I carefully took Niya off his chest and laid her down on the bed and started getting her stuff together. About 30 minutes later, Meek was dressed and Niya woke up from her mini power nap.

"Dada!"
I looked over at Meek playing with Niya, which made me smile.
"Lets go get some food.", Meek said.
"We have to get ready for the party Rihmeek."
"We'll be back to do all that, lets go."
I grabbed my purse and he took it out my hand and sat it back down.
"You don't need that."
We walked out the house and I picked Niya up and put her in the carseat.
"I'll strap her in.", Meek said and I nodded.
I put her bag on the floor and went over to the passenger side and got in.
