"Niya should wake up soon and she gets cranky.", I told Candi.
"I got her Nic. Go to baby daddy."
I laughed and got all my stuff together.
"Bye mamas.", I said.
I kissed Niya's cheek and walked out the house and told Meek I was on my way.
Aight. Door's unlocked
I got in my car and started driving to his house. 10 minutes later, I pulled up to his house and saw him talking to someone.
"Is that my favorite person?! Nic?!", Omelly asked.
I smiled, nodding and walked over to him and hugged him.
"How you been?", he asked.
"I've been good, taking care of Niya.", I said and he nodded.
"You need to let me have her for a day."
"Hell no. You not getting my daughter.", Meek said and I rolled my eyes.
"Give me your phone and I'll put my number in."
He gave me his phone and I saw Meek starting to get frustrated.
"Here you go. Text me when you want her."
"Will do. I'll see you later Meek."
Meek nodded at him and we watched him get in the car and drive off.
"What was that?", Meek asked.
"I wasn't flirting with him Meek. I consider him like family so he can get Niya."
We walked in the house and I went up to his room.
"You getting real comfortable. Walking in here like its yo house and shit."
"What did you have to talk about?"
"Us."
I looked over at him and sighed.
"What about us?"
"I miss you Onika! I need you here with me."
"What about that little girl you were talkin to?"
"That isn't going to end up being serious and you know that. You're the mother of my child and you were the love of my life."
"And what happened to that?! We were so perfect and then, you just started messing up. Partying, drinking, and other things but you never did cheat."
"I would never cheat on you Nic. I was young, dumb, and stupid. I want what we had again, but I can only do that if you're willing to."
He held his hand out for me and I looked at it.
"I don't know if I'm going to get hurt by you again, that's what I'm scared of."
"I promise I won't hurt you. I promise."
I nodded and put my hand in his. He wrapped his arms around me and I relaxed in his arms.
"Please don't make me regret this Rihmeek."
"I won't baby, I won't."

After spending mostly all day with Meek, I needed to get back home since Candi was at my house with Niya.
