Being Steve Rodger's daughter was hard. Especially when the team that raised you fought over something stupid.

I was at the airport the day of the fight. I watched as the only family I had ever known was ripped apart. Then, my dad left. He was gone.

I lived with Tony and the rest of the Avengers that didn't get arrested for a while. No matter how much my dad and Tony hated each other, both of them would do anything to keep me safe.

Peter Parker, or Spiderman, has been helping me a lot too.

Ever since the fight he has been my best friend. And I didn't mind that. That is, until I start developing feelings for him.

The boy had me wrapped around his finger and he didn't even realize it. I was completely, utterly, head over heels in love with him.

Currently, I was sitting at lunch, studying Peter's features as he talked to Ned.

His hair was styled back but you could still tell that he had beautiful, chocolate brown curls that, occasionally, would fall into his face.

His brown eyes lit up whenever he talked about the Stark Internship or being Spiderman and saving someone. He was smiling about something, I just couldn't tell what. And god, did I live his smile.

The way that his whole face would just relax whenever he smiled made me so incredibly happy. I know, someone smiling making you happy is stupid. But it's not just Peter's smile- it's everything about him.

His laugh made my heart melt and he would get so excited over an advancement Ingrid webshooters or Tony's work. How he talked about Germany and how much he enjoyed it.

Everything about the boy had my heart melting and Tony and everyone else constantly teasing me.

I missed my dad, though. He would be able to help me through this and it was hard without him being here.

"Y/N!" Peter said, snapping me out of my thought.

"O-oh, sorry," I said, looking down at my lunch.

"What were you thinking about?" He asked.

"My dad," I sighed. His face fell when I mentioned his name, knowing how much I missed him.

"I'm sorry, Y/N," he said.

"I know it's hard without him,"

I nodded.

"It's fine. There's nothing you could do about it," I said.

The bell rang and I grabbed my backpack throwing my lunch in the garbage.

"See you on the bus, Pete," I said, walking off to my next period.

On the way home Pete was overly enthusiastic.

"What happened to you?" I asked.

"Liz said she'd go out on a date with me!" He said happily.

"Pete, I hate to say this but I think it's a joke," I said as we got off the bus.
