okay I'm in love with this song it makes me so happy so I thought it'd be cute to do an imagine based off of it so enjoy :)

I listened to the lyrics of the famous Elvis Presley song as it softly played through the speaker.

Sitting across from me, at his desk, was Peter Parker, my best friend. A smile ran across my lips as I studied his beautiful features while he worked something for his suit. He softly hummed the lyrics to the tune of the song.

I sighed, knowing that my feelings for Peter couldn't be stopped. I loved everything about him.

He turned around, smiling at me.

"Y/N?"

My ears perked up at his name.

"Yeah?"

"Can you hand me the web shooter liquid?" He asked.

I grabbed the the beaker of the sticky web-like material and handed it to him, our fingertips brushing up against each other.

Even that small touch sent a boatload of sparks throughout my body.

He turned back around and he but his lip, a sign of his concentration.

shall I stay?

I've been here for hours watching Peter do nothing but work on new tech for his suit. At first he was helping me with my Chem, then he moved to working on suit tech. I was debating if I should stay or not.

"Peter?" I asked.

"Mmhm?"

"Should I go?"

"No, why would you even ask that?

"I dunno, Pete. You've been working on your tech for hours, and I think it's about time for me to leave-"

I watched him out down whatever he was working on, and spin around.

He walked over to me, sitting down, kissing my forehead.

"I'm sorry, Y/N," he said, tucking a piece of hair behind my ear.

"I didn't realize how late it's gotten,"

He licked his lips and looked at me with puppy dog eyes.

"Please stay, you can spend the night," he said.

The lyrics of Elvis' hit couldn't of played at a better time. It should be considered a sin what was happening to me. Was it considered one? Not being able to help your feelings for your best friend?

I'm pretty sure it was.

But I couldn't help falling in love with Peter.

"Peter, if you need to work on your tech, I can come back tomorrow. It's okay," I said.
