Chapter 4

FADILA opened the door and immediately hugged her sister.

"Ya Allah, it's been so long!" Fatima said as they pulled away from their tight hug.

"How are you?" Fadila asked as she led her sister into the living room.

"I'm fine, Alhamdulillah" Fatima replied.

"Where are the boys?" Fatima inquired.

"Muhammad, Ahmad!" Fadila called.

"Come greet your aunt Fatima" she continued.

Soon after, the two curly haired boys ran into the room and wrapped their aunt in a huge hug.

"Hi boys" she smiled down at her nephews.

"Fatima, where is Ameerah?" Fadila as she watched Ahmad and Muhammad both get propped on her sister's laps.

"Ameerah is at home, she didn't come with me" Fatima said.

"When can I see her?" Ahmad asked.

"Well, I will talk to uncle Aliyu and we will bring her over for a long while. Would you like that?" that plastered the world's biggest smiles on the two little kids' faces.

"Yes" they both said with excitement.
They've only really known Ameerah through video chat since they've only met once but they were so eager to see their cousin again.

Just as the boys exit the room Fatima realized Fadila had left the room too.

Only seconds later Fadila walks into the room with a baby girl on her hip.

She is just the cutest thing; thought Fatima to herself.

Fadila told her sister about the new arrangement with Zaid's niece.

Fadila sat next to Fatima placing the very adorable child on her lap.

"So she came today?" Fatima asked after the whole story.

"Yes. But maama is out. She went to Zaida's" Fadila explained.

Fatima and Fadila chat for a few minutes before they had to go.

Layla had slipped onto the carpet and was playing with the tv remote.

Fadila picked up Layla and excused herself to take her to Susan.

With many bye hugs and kisses the sisters made their way to the car and headed to the dinner.

According to their plan Fadila says she's bringing Zaid but instead she shows up with their sister.

They drive to their brother's house was shorter than Fatima had expected.

The pair hopped out of the car and walk up to the door.

The door was answered by Safiya.

She squealed and hugged Fatima.

"Is it really you?" she giggled.

"How are you?" Fatima asked as they passed the living room heading for the dining room.

"I'm fine" Safiya smiled.

"Guess who I found" she announced as they walk into the dining room.

The whole room was filled with greetings and just happiness.

They finish up the wonderfully catered dinner and head to the family room for catching up.

Fatima was having such a good time she lost track of time. The second Fatima saw what time it was at that same moment Aliyu called.
