Xavier Falls
I ran in the house and quickly locked the door behind me, me and a few others were currently hiding from the feds and had to split up and I prayed my nigga Ivan didn't get caught.
"Where you coming from?" My mother asked and I smacked my teeth
"Exercising." I said between deep breaths and she pursed her lips together.
"Anyway, your school called me today." She informed and I took my shirt off and tossed it on the ground sitting on the couch.
"That's nice." I said.
"Xavier don't get smart with me. You told me you've been going to school but it says you missed ten consecutive days! I've had a conference with your principle and I've seen your grades. You have three F's, two D's, two B's, and one A in gym! You're failing most classes and there's only so many colleges you can get into with your current GPA." She said. I rolled my eyes flipping through a few more channels and settling on a re-run from the boondocks.
"Who said I wanted to go to college?" I mumbled. Moment later the side of my face was stinging after my mothers hand encountered my face.
I held the side of my face that was burning from the way she just bitched slapped me and hissed.
"X you don't have to be like your dad, ya know? You can go to college and actually make something out of your life. Both of your parents are working so I don't understand why you make the choices you do. Don't even get me started on your anger issues. I try to tell you one thing and you start punching holes in the wall and breaking glass? Its like no matter what I do you just don't listen to what I say! And your dad doesn't say anything, I'm tired of feeling like I have no voice in the house. So I've decided that its best you start seeing your behavioral coach again. As a matter of fact, she'll be here in a few minutes!" She yelled, I yawned and cut up the volume on the TV
"I don't want to see a behavioral coach again. And I don't like to depend on y'all money." I told her and she scoffed when the doorbell rung.
"That's her." She informed walking to the door and a black women with her hair pulled back in a bun walked in and eyed me.
"He's very handsome." She smiled and my mother smiled back and gave me a look before closing the front door and leaving me and the woman in the living room alone, she sat on the couch across from me.
"So Xavier, how's school been going?" She asked.
"I'm sure she already told you." I said dryly. She tucked her lips in and nodded.
"I know this may be personal but, do you happen to be in an intimate relationship? Are you sexually active?"
Bitch..
"I talk to this girl named Alaina. We fuck a lot, but I use protection." I said and her eyes widened as she quickly scribbled something down on a clipboard
"How do you feel about Alaina?" She coughed.
"She's fine as hell But I'm not faithful, I don't see our relationship going anywhere" I confessed and she furrowed her eyebrows in deep thought.
