16. Beautiful Nightmare..

Xavier Falls

"God damn it, WAKE UP!!" I yelled shaking her.

"Oh dear." Some white woman said. "Do you want me to call the police?"

"Obviously stupid ass!!" I yelled.

"Its all your fault." ..

"Genesis is dead because of you.."

"Its all your fault.."

"all your fault.."

I shot up, awakening from the nightmare I had just had. It was a mixture of the flashback from when my sister died with Simone's words. The more I thought about it, the more I dreamt about it. I'm coming to realization that her death is probably my fault. Damn..

I threw the blanket off me roughly and sat on the side of the bed before disconnecting my phone from the charger.

1:32 am..

I turned and looked back at Alaina who was sound asleep.

"Xavier" A little girls voice said, I furrowed my eyebrows and turned to see genesis staring at me.

"..the fuck?!" I whispered. "I thought you were dead."

She ignored my remark. "God sent me down here to speak to you." She informed. "He told me to tell you-"

She stopped speaking when I approached her. I went to touch her put my hand when through and I furrowed my eyebrows and took a few steps back. I sat back down on the bed.

"How is any of this possible?!" I asked.

"Anything is possible with God." She said in a duh tone.

"As I was saying, he sent me down here to warn you. He-"

"Wait. Am I the only one who can see you?!" I questioned. She sighed.

"Xavier. I choose who I want to be able to see me. " She told me and I nodded.

"The lord wanted me to tell you to listen to mommy. She just wants the best for you. She is our mom, stop pushing her away. She's only trying to help." She said softly.

I swallowed and nodded. I'm pretty sure I'm going fucking crazy. This the type of shit that happens after sniffing to many markers

"Watch your back Xavier. Everyone does not have love for you like you think they do. Believe it or not, its the ones closest to you." She warned.

"Love you, forever." She said.

"Forever" I responded. Her skin slowly lost color until her skin appearrd transparent. And she was gone.

"Come back." I said. Nothing happened.

I stood to my feet quickly and walked to the bathroom before turning on the light and looking in the mirror. I opened on of the cabinets and retrieved my pill bottle of anti-depressants and took two in my hand.

"I'll just use this faucet water." I mumbled to myself putting the pills in my mouth with some water and swallowing.

The door slowly opened and Alaina was standing their rubbing her eyes.

"Why aren't you sleep?" She asked.

"had to use the bathroom." I said lowly.

"Okay well, come back to bed with me." She pulled my arm. I followed her back to the room.

She got in the bed and laid down while I just stood there, shook. "Come lay down." She said.

I laid on my back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. What the fuck is going on with me right now?

I got my phone from the night stand and dialed Ivan's number and he answered after the third ring.

"Nigga why you calling me at one in the morning?" He asked in an agitated tone.

"Look bruh, I know this about to sound crazy but Genesis was just in my room." I said. He didn't reply.

"Hello?" I said.

"Hold up, I'm about to call bullshit." He said before laughing and I smacked my teeth.

"Nigga Im not playin. This is some serious stuff. My sister was in the fucking room having a whole conversation with me!" I whisper-yelled.

"You for real?" He questioned.

"I.can.not.make.this.shit up."

"Man, I don't know what to tell you. You took your meds?" He asked.

"Yeah I just did." I responded.

"Man its probably because you hadn't took your meds yet. What were y'all talking about?" He sighed.

"She was telling me to start listening to my mama and shit, and to watch my back." I informed.

"I don't know, I think you seeing shit. Just sleep on it, we'll talk about it in the morning." He said.

"Alright."

"Alright, night."

Now that I think about it, I may be seeing shit. Ain't no way some spiritual shit just happened to make me see my sister and for her to talk to me. Like Ivan said, it was because I didn't take my meds. I could be tripping.

..but what if I'm not?
